The SRAM Force XPLR eTap AXS is the ultimate rear derailleur for endless gravel fun. This powerful and robust derailleur is optimised for gravel riding and can now handle a cassette with up to 44 teeth! This large maximum range offers the optimal resistance from 44 teeth for the steepest hills to 10 teeth for fast descents. As with the components of other products in the Force range, SRAM also equips the Force XPLR eTAP AXS with the liquid-cushioned Orbit chain guide and X-Sync derailleur wheels. They keep performance high and weight low. In addition, the eTap AXS technology ensures fast, smooth and intuitive shifting. The derailleur can be connected to a smartphone app, allowing you to set up your shifting system just the way you want it!

Fits perfectly within the SRAM AXS system
This SRAM Force XPLR eTap AXS Rear Derailleur is compatible with all SRAM Force AXS parts. So you can use it with SRAM Force shifters, but also with Red shifters or the SRAM Eagle MTB shifter. This gives you endless possibilities for personalisation and you can tailor your bike to suit your needs.

No clattering of chain thanks to fluid clutch
This SRAM Force XPLR eTap AXS rear derailleur is equipped with a fluid clutch. Thanks to the fluid clutch, chain tension is always optimal and prevents rattling on bad roads, cobblestones and gravel. On the one hand, this prevents irritation and damage to your bike, but on the other hand, it also ensures that your chain remains properly positioned on the front sprocket.

This SRAM Force eTap AXS rear derailleur is compatible with 1x and 2x 12-Speed drivetrains. The clutch keeps the chain always on tension and prevents it from rattling. This prevents the chain from falling off the front sprocket.

User tips

A crooked derailleur hanger?
A common problem is a warped derailleur hanger. This can be caused by the derailleur coming into contact with something hard, for example during a fall. Fortunately, this can be repaired! Find out more here.

Make sure you clean your derailleur pulleys too!
Like the chain, derailleur pulleys get very dirty. This makes for a less enjoyable ride and doesn't help with the durability of your drivetrain. Therefore, when cleaning the chain and / or oiling the chain, it is advisable to also clean the derailleur pulleys. Do this by gently turning the chain while you run a cloth along the derailleur wheel. However, at some point the derailleur wheels will be worn out.
