The base of this MTB is its comfortable and handsome aluminium frame. It has internally routed cables, so that these are well protected, as well as a streamlined look. The lightweight aluminium frame ensures stable and responsive handling. The sleek aluminium fork also contributes to this. Both the frame and fork have mounting points for luggage carriers and mudguards.
Safe braking
For gear shifting, you have the Shimano gearing group. This group performs well and is a common feature on mountain bikes for beginners. The 16 gears and 11-36 cassette ensure a large gearing range, allowing you to conquer hills in your preferred gears. For braking you have Tektro mechanical disc brakes, which deliver good braking performance in good as well as bad conditions. These brakes also offer good modulation, so you can tear through corners with confidence. That being said, they are not up there with hydraulic disc brakes and, unlike hydraulic brakes, need to be adjusted slightly more often.
