Gazelle has developed a rock-solid e-bike that will get you through the city effortlessly. A belt drive, disc brakes and suspension elements will give you plenty of comfortable kilometres.

The basis of the Gazelle Avignon is the sleek aluminum frame. This frame has a low step-in, which provides great comfort and direct steering. The cables are integrated into the frame, so they are well protected from rain or dirt. The seating position on this electric city bike is upright, so that even after a long day you are still comfortable in the saddle. Moreover, you have the option to personalize the seating position even further through the hand-adjustable stem. The front fork on the Avignon is equipped with inner ball head suspension, which damps light shocks well. The seat post is also sprung, providing extra protection for your lower back. The tyres on this bike are 55 mm wide, pleasant on practically any surface.
E-bike technology
The extra support on the Gazelle comes from the Bosch Performance Line middle motor. This mid-motor has a torque of 65 Nm, which ensures that even on sloping terrain you will have no issues. The motor uses three different sensors that provide natural and smooth support. The battery on this electric bike has access to 625 Wh. This gives you a range of about 100 kilometers, making the Avignon also excellent for use as a touring bike. The motor is operated using the Bosch Intuvia display. This display shows all basic ride data and can be operated without taking your hands off the handlebars.
Shifting and braking
This electric bike comes with a continuously variable Enviolo hub. This gear hub has no gears, allowing you to control very precisely how hard you pedal. Plus, this bike does not have a traditional chain, but a belt drive. This belt drive is quieter and lasts much longer. As a bonus, braking is done with hydraulic disc brakes from Magura. These disc brakes deliver excellent braking performance, even in poor conditions. Moreover, they are easy to dose, so you can steer into every corner with confidence.
