Description
The B17S Imperial Std is the ladies version of the B17 Imperial. This saddle has a cut-out in the middle. This cut-out was used more than 100 years ago for the first time by Brooks, for a lower pressure on your seat. The S is a little bit shorter than the standard version, this makes the saddle very suitable for ladies.
Imperial series: designed in 1890, anatomic shape specific saddles for gents and ladies.
In the 1890s J.B. Brooks & Co. introduced the first saddles with a registered cut-out shape that helped preventively against seat pressure. This innovative solution can be found by several manufacturers. The Imperial saddle was taken out of production by Brooks in the 50's. Recently, the Imperial saddles are back into production. Renewed and improved to prevent numbness of your seat and with a special solutions for men and women.
