Description
These Shimano XT Trail M8120 brakes are developed specifically for Trail and Enduro use and are equipped with Shimano's Ice-Technology. This technology guarantees proper heat dissipation, so that even in the most extreme conditions you still have sufficient stopping power. The brake pads and discs brake rotors are equipped with cooling fins and the choice of materials also decreases heat buildup. In addition, the double pistons provide twice as much braking power, making a challenging trail a lot easier for you!
Please note when purchasing this product: This product has been designed in accordance with Dutch standards. In the Netherlands it is customary to mount the front brake on the left and the rear brake on the right. This differs from the British standard, where the front brake is mounted on the right and the rear brake on the left.
Deze Shimano XT M8120 schijfremmen zijn helemaal naar wens af te stellen. Zo zijn deze remmen uitgerust met Shimano's I-Spec EV montage, waarmee de positie van remhendel en shifter geheel naar wens af te stellen is. De Shimano Servo Wave technologie op deze XT M8120 remmen zorgt er voor dat de remmen in het begin van de rembeweging relatief veel afstand afleggen, waardoor in het tweede deel van het intrekken van de remhendel veel ruimte is voor modulatie en verfijnd remgevoel. Hiermee verhoog je niet alleen je remkracht, maar is je remkracht nog nauwkeuriger te doseren!
Geen lucht in het systeem dankzij de one-way bleeding
De Shimano XT M8120 remmen beschikken over een geoptimaliseerde stroom van remvloeistof dankzij de eenrichtingsventilatie. Hiermee wordt er voorkomen dat er lucht in het hydraulische systeem terecht komt. Dit komt niet alleen de remkracht ten goede, maakt hiernaast een schone, probleemloze ontluchting mogelijk.
Als je overstapt naar een ander merk schijfremmen of een andere maat remschijven wilt monteren, heb je een andere adapter tussen frame en remklauw nodig.

Fantastic package, brilliant brakeset
I was skeptical as previously I have suffered with many issues with Shimano brakes. However in the weeks I have used these they have been mighty impressive. Set up out of the box was simple and the brakeset are beautifully made. Mantel service was again spot on

Powerful
Coming from Formula R1's I wasn't sure how powerful these would feel however I was not disappointed, power is great and modulation is not an issue, bleeding was easy and the mineral oil is nice to work with. Adjustment is awesome and the extra contact point makes them feel solid under heavy braking. Only downside for me was getting my gear shifter and dropper post lever where I wanted them due to brake lever clamp and extra contact point but you soon adjust. (Top Tip: buy the right tools to cut the hose and insert barb it makes a big difference)

Parfait
Le kit est monté mais la gaine n'est pas raccordée au levier pour permettre de la glisser dans le cadre. Un embout est placé sur la gaine prête au montage.
