The Scott Speedster Gravel 40 EQ is an ideal gravel bike for the cyclist who never wants to leave the bike behind.
Extremely versatile
This gravel bike will take you anywhere. You'll conquer gravel tracks with ease. And it won't be affected by bad weather, as this will get you to work quickly. This Scott has it all.
The basis of this gravel bike is the lightweight aluminium frame. This frame is specially designed for gravel riding, therefore you will tear across the gravel lanes with great comfort and ease. Also very nice is the integrated cable guide, which keeps the cables well protected from outside dirt. Even more comfort comes from the carbon fork, which dampens the worst vibrations from the road surface. So you'll be cycling around comfortably at all times.
Smooth shifting and braking
The drivetrain on the gravel bike is provided by the Shimano Tiagra drivetrain. This drivetrain is sturdy and reliable and works well with the FSA double crankset. This allows you to shift smoothly, even on dirt roads. In addition, this groupset has fast shifting and has good durability. On the Speedster Gravel you have an 11-34 cassette, which allows you to cycle in a comfortable gear even on steep roads. Braking is done with Shimano mechanical disc brakes. These brakes have excellent stopping power and deliver good braking performance in bad weather conditions.

The Speedster is more than just a gravel bike. For instance, the bike comes with mudguards, ideal for commuting, making it basically a fast bike for commuters.

What a fine bike. Out of the box almost roadworthy. Yes there are lighter bikes, yes there are more sophisticated shifting systems. But at this price, this is a more than decent gravel bike. Perfect for getting acquainted with gravel biking and also cut out for daily use because of the mudguards.
