The Scott Aspect eRide 940 is the ideal electric mountain bike for exploring dirt roads.
Comfortable off-road bike
A suspension fork, ample battery capacity and powerful support give you plenty of comfort during all your adventures.
The foundation of the Scott Aspect is the lightweight aluminium frame, into which the cables are integrated. Thus, the cables are well protected from dirt and precipitation. For riding over dirt roads, suspension is very important. Scott has therefore fitted an aluminium front fork, which handles bumps in the road extremely well. The fork also features a lock-out, which allows you to adjust the suspension travel. On paved trails, you need much less suspension than on unpaved trails. So with the lock-out, you make sure you always ride as efficiently as possible.
Smooth support
On this e-mtb, you will be supported by the Bosch Active Line plus mid-motor. This mid-motor uses three sensors so that the motor can support you as naturally and smoothly as possible. The motor has a torque of 50Nm, with this you will also get up a hill or overpass with ease. The electric mountain bike comes with a 500 Wh battery, which has enough capacity for a tour of about 70 kilometres. You control the motor with the Bosch Purion display. This dispaly is easy to control, moreover, it displays all basic ride data excellently.
Shifting and braking
Gear shifting is done on the Scott Aspect eRide 940 with 9-speed Shimano gears. This gets you an 11-36 cassette, giving you a shifting range. This is very handy for uphill lanes. Braking is done with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. These brakes deliver enormous braking power and are easy to dose. If you ever ride through the rain, you can rely on the excellent braking performance of the disc brakes.
Versatile to use
Scott has designed an electric mountain bike that can also be used in a less sporty way. For example, you can fit lights, mudguards and a luggage rack, making it a great bike for daily rides to work. So if you're looking for a sporty bike for everyday rides, the Scott Aspect is an excellent choice.
