The Wahoo Tickr Fit supports both ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart (4.0), so it can be paired to many smartphones, GPS watches and bike computers. The LED lights indicate whether it's connected. The Tickr Fit is made of advanced materials, designed to hold it in place even during intense workouts! This heart rate strap has an IPX7 water resistance rating, which means that occasional exposure to water up to a depth of 1 metre for up to 30 minutes isn't a problem. Optical Sensors
The Wahoo Tickr Fit is designed to be worn around your forearm. By using optical sensors, it accurately measures your heat rate. It uses modern algorithms to filter vibrations and movements captured by the sensor, so that only the signal of your heart rate remains, ensuring clear measurements. When your heart rate suddenly changes, like during an intense interval training session, this algorithm could make some mistakes, resulting in a heart rate that seems higher than it actually is. A heart rate monitor with a chest strap usually doesn't have this issue. The main advantage of optical sensors and an arm strap is ease of use, as well as increase in comfort.

Accurate heart rate monitor that is easy to use.
After my old Garmin gave up, I was looking for a replacement. This one is a lot easier to use because of the arm-strap instead of around the chest. Have compared the readings with the Apple watch and with a Fenix and as far as I can see it's pretty accurate. I use it in combination with a Garmin Edge while biking.

Very accurate measurement, sits well. I do have to reconnect to mywhoosh every time. This is not the case with my wahoo trainer itself so I don't know if it is due to the heart rate meter itself or mywhoosh but I mention it anyway.

Comes with two lengths of bracelets, adjustable by Velcro. Easy to accelerate on and off. Flashes when battery is low. Charging via magnetic connection, so waterproof.
