The Wahoo Tickr Fit supports both ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart (4.0), so it can be paired to many smartphones, GPS watches and bike computers. The LED lights indicate whether it's connected. The Tickr Fit is made of advanced materials, designed to hold it in place even during intense workouts! This heart rate strap has an IPX7 water resistance rating, which means that occasional exposure to water up to a depth of 1 metre for up to 30 minutes isn't a problem. That means you can wear it in the most extreme weather conditions, and easily rinse it off under the tap. So, if you're looking for an easy to use, quality heart rate monitor which you can connect with your favourite fitness app? Choose the Wahoo Tickr Fit!
Easily connect this device to most smartphones with its Bluetooth connectivity. That way you can view your training data in all your favourite fitness apps, including Strava, Runkeeper, Endomondo or Wahoo Fitness.
Optical Sensors
The Wahoo Tickr Fit is designed to be worn around your forearm. By using optical sensors, it accurately measures your heat rate. It uses modern algorithms to filter vibrations and movements captured by the sensor, so that only the signal of your heart rate remains, ensuring clear measurements. When your heart rate suddenly changes, like during an intense interval training session, this algorithm could make some mistakes, resulting in a heart rate that seems higher than it actually is. A heart rate monitor with a chest strap usually doesn't have this issue. The main advantage of optical sensors and an arm strap is ease of use, as well as increase in comfort.

Great product
Wanted a heartrate monitor that does not go around the chest
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
great ease of use
Its main fault is the time lag in the instantaneous heart rate reading, which can be confusing when you first start out...

I wouldn't buy it online.
In itself a good product but I received it particularly incomplete. Being a nitwit, I just started using it but when I wondered how to charge it then I came to look. Have since managed to find a charger via Amazon and my handy mother had already shortened the strap.

Better to take a chest strap than an armband
No proper heart rate readings on Wahoo Element making the purchase a mis-buy for me. But other users are satisfied apparently....
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Great working heart rate monitor that wears comfortably.
Comfortably wearing heart rate monitor that occasionally gives a non-existent spike. Perhaps due to interference from a high-voltage pylon. Certainly not too expensive. Works fine in combination with a Wahoo navigation
