Description
Description
As the Wahoo Tickr Fit can make both ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart (4.0) connections, it can be linked to many smartphones, GPS watches and bike computers. The LED lights indicate whether there is a connection. The Tickr Fit is made of advanced materials, designed to hold it in place, even during intense workouts! The heart rate belt has an IPX7 water resistance rating, which means that occasional exposure to water up to a depth of 1 metre for up to 30 minutes isn't a problem. Thus, you can wear it in the most extreme weather conditions, and easily rinse it off under the tap. So, if you're looking for an easy to use, good heart rate monitor which you can connect with your favourite fitness app? Then choose the Wahoo Tickr Fit!
Technology
BluetoothWith the Bluetooth connectivity you can easily connect this product to most smartphones. This way you can view the training data in all your favorite fitness apps. Such as Strava, Runkeeper, Endomondo or Wahoo Fitness.
Optical Sensors
You wear the Wahoo Tickr Fit around your forearm. By using optical sensors, the heart rate measurement can be accurately determined. Modern algorithms are used to filter vibrations and movements captured by the sensor. So that only the signal of your heart rate remains for a clear measurement. With spontaneous tempo changes, such as during a considerable interval training, this algorithm can sometimes be wrong, making your heart rate appear higher than it actually is. A heart rate monitor with chest strap generally suffers less from this. The big advantage of the optical sensors and the placement around the arm is the easy user experience and the increased comfort.

Not a minute's regret!
I bought this product because I find skin irritation over wearing chest strap heart rate monitors. And I am happy with this switch. I first had a Wahoo TickrX.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Comfort and convenience
The band fits snugly around your forearm and stays in place. What I did notice is that it regularly takes some time before my wahoo element bolt actually indicates the heart rate. It is also the case that the indicated heart rate does not go up and down as quickly as the actual heart rate. A chest strap is a bit faster at that. But as far as I'm concerned, the biggest plus is the wearing comfort and not having to mess around with changing batteries anymore.

misspurchase
Ideal product, only to have to buy a new one every 5 months because it won't recharge after using it for a while is a bit silly. Sin, otherwise an ideal heart rate monitor.

Great product
Good purchase. Works more conveniently than heart rate monitor around your chest is my opinion
