Workshop
For maintenance or repair on your bike, you can make your own appointment in our workshop planner. Select the service or work you'd like done, choose a date and location, and confirm your appointment.
On the day of your appointment, you can drop off your bike in the first business hour of the store. This varies by location, so be sure to check the opening hours here.
You will receive an email when your bike is ready to be picked up. We will also contact you before the end of the day if the repair is taking longer than expected.
In order to provide the best possible service, we are currently focusing on repairs and maintenance for bicycles purchased at Mantel. Due to high demand, it is unfortunately not possible to serve all of our customers.
We understand that this may be disappointing for some customers, but we hope for your understanding.

Many people have started cycling, and all those bikes need maintenance. The months of April through September are generally the most popular ones for maintenance and repairs. During this time, you may not be able to schedule an appointment as soon as you'd like. In other months, waiting times may not be as long.
You can always stop by our workshop to see if we have an opening for you right then and there. However, if we're too busy we won't be able to help you at short notice.
Just like a car needs an annual technical inspection, your bike needs maintenance. With proper maintenance, your bike parts remain in good condition, which may help to prevent wear. In addition, in some situations it is important that you can prove that you have had your bike serviced regularly so that the warranty remains valid. The manufacturer's warranty may become void if a defect is caused by insufficient or incorrect maintenance.
We recommend having your bike serviced within the first six months or after 500 km. Cycling causes the parts of your bike to move. Think of spokes, bolts and nuts that can come undone from vibrating. If you wait too long, this may cause more serious problems. A loose spoke, for example, can cause your wheel to bend.
After this first service appointment, our advice is to have your bike serviced once a year, or to maintain your bike properly yourself. For a service or maintenance appointment, go to Mantel or a local bike repair shop. Make sure you keep the invoice for the warranty on your bike.
