Comfortable in the saddle
Trek has developed a road bike that makes it easy to rack up many miles. Specific geometry, very sturdy equipment and wide tyres will give you many enjoyable rounds on the road bike.

Comfortable frame
The basis of the Trek Domane SL5 is the sophisticated carbon frame. This frame is stiff, making for direct and enjoyable handling. The cables run through the frame, and are therefore protected from precipitation and dirt. In addition, Trek uses the Isospeeed concept on the Domane. This concept is used at the back of the bike, which dampens vibrations and reduces fatigue.

Sturdy equipment
Shifting gears on this road bike is done with the Shimano 105 groupset. This groupset delivers excellent shifting performance and shifts smoothly and quickly. The road bike has an 2x11 drivetrain and an 11-34 cassette. This provides a wide gear range, so you can get uphill in a comfortable gear even in the mountains. On descents, you can rely on the hydraulic disc brakes. These disc brakes deliver powerful braking performance, even in poor conditions. In addition, they modulate well, giving you plenty of confidence when cornering.

Wide tyres
Trek opted for 32 mm wide tyres on the Domane. The provide plenty of comfort and grip on any surface. Should you want to mount even wider tyres, you can fit up to 38 mm wide tyres. In addition, both the tyres and rims are tubeless ready. A tubeless setup has lower rolling resistance, and a reduced risk of punctures.
