- Dynamic Inertia is the flywheel’s counterpart. Unlike a flywheel, Dynamic Inertia compensates for weight, speed and gradient. This results in a very realistic resistance feel.
- Road Feel and Gear Feel technology ensures optimal simulation of the vibrations felt on different road surfaces and of gear shifting. It provides the best possible feel of shifting or of cycling on cobblestone, for instance.
- Virtual Shifting allows you to shift directly into different gears. The resistance can also be adjusted digitally to a suitable setup.
With these features, cycling on an indoor trainer has become more realistic than ever before.
In addition, the Neo Bike Smart trainer is completely silent, highly accurate and particularly powerful. The turbo trainer has a built-in power meter, whose <1% deviation makes it very precise; it ranks among the most accurate power trainers available. With a maximum resistance capacity of 2200 Watt, this turbo trainer is also very suited to powerhouse cyclists. The maximum gradient of 25 percent offers plenty of options for uphill training. The Bike Smart’s geometry is similar to that of road and triathlon bikes. With just a few minor adjustments you can be in your usual cycling postition on the Neo Bike Smart T8000.
The interactive front fans provide a cooling breeze during your workout. If you insert your phone or tablet in the designated mount, you have constant insight into the most significant training data. Bad weather is no longer an excuse for not cycling; the Tacx NEO Bike Smart T8000 is a great machine that allows you to train indoors in the best possible way!
To support your workouts and to help you get fitter, Tacx has developed an app with Tacx' familiar training software. In the free features you can create your own training sessions and cycle freely, but it does not offer the option of cycling with Tacx videos or in a virtual reality environment. However, besides creating training sessions you can analyse your data, you have access to a dashboard with statistics, you can export data to Garmin Connect or Strava and you can follow your friends.
In addition, you can pay to get access to a library filled with high-quality training videos. This option is available in PREMIUM and in PREMIUM HD quality, as a monthly or annual subscription via the cloud website, or as a voucher for 90, 180 or 365 days via Tacx' website (www.garmin.com/en-NL/p/696770).

Construction kit was assembled in no time (2 men) using the instructions (with drawings) provided. It doesn't get any closer to cycling outside, what an experience! You forget you are inside. Bike is very quiet and shifting gears is just like the real thing. Really great device.
