Shimano Ultegra R8000 11 Speed Crankset

The Shimano Ultegra R8000 crankset might be the most visually striking component of the R8000 groupset. The robust asymmetric crank arm design is taken from the Dura Ace R9100 crankset and ensures a more efficient power transfer than the previous iteration. The crank also uses the Hollowglide technology to provide a perfect balance between low weight and high rigidity. The choice between various types of chainrings is plentiful and swapping them is easy because of the same inner diameter used for double (53-39T), compact (50-34T), and cyclocross (46-36T) chainrings.

Important:
Only front derailleurs from the Ultegra R8000, 105 R7000 and Dura-Ace R9100 series shift well with this crank. The front derailleurs from earlier Shimano 11-speed series do not shift well with this crank, specifically these are:

• 105 FD-5800
• Ultegra FD-6800
• Dura-Ace FD-9000
