many technical problemem in the first six months.
I have had the Trek X caliber for six months now, but already had many problems with it. I don't use the dropper anymore because sand gets in between and seatpost starts creaking. Within 2 weeks I had to return to Mantel because the front tire was not properly mounted. Also, every bike ride I have to inflate the rear tire first because it is too soft. And within 6 months I have already broken 3 spokes. And Mantel's service is downright bad! For every problem you have to go to the store, only to be told that they don't have the parts in stock or now no time to fix it.

Delightful bike for cruising. Saddle adjustability is cool, works easily.

Drives super
Rides super light, perfect shifting and brakes, especially coming from an unsprung 26 inch MTB! No comparison! However, upon delivery I would like to receive more information about suspension (weight of the rider/adjustment of suspension) and inner tube/tubeless suspension.

Great good bike!!!
I ordered a Trek X-Caliber 9 2022, got it after just two days, the delivery guy unpacked everything nicely and took the junk back with him, very nice! The bike itself rides great, really very light weight. Am really super happy with it, really recommend it! thank you very much!

Wonderful bike!
Bought this bike at a great promotional price. Came for a Cube but chose the Trek in ML (am 1,78m). What a wonderful and cool bike! Tubeless, mantle immediately fills the tires with latex and sets the front fork to the right pressure so riding right away. Also the gears were nicely adjusted. The Trek comes with a wide handlebar (78 cm) which you can customize with a pipe cutter. I saw the dropper as an unnecessary luxury but do use it regularly! The looks are fantastic, both colors are very nicely finished but orange really stands out for me. Recon gold fork, and the dropper, xt set-up with the Slx shifters were decisive for me. I like Shimano shifting better than Sram, as the shifter can move in two directions and multiple gears in one move. The stem was up, I turned it around to make the handlebars a little more aggressive.

Nice, light and good handling MTB!
Wonderful bike! Shifts, brakes and steers great. I use the dropper post more often than I thought. The fact that the lockout cannot be operated from the handlebars is no problem for me, because you can easily reach it from the fork itself. Just do it in time and not when you are already off-road because then it is more difficult :-) Delivered roadworthy it was not quite. Came with flat tires and a bottle of latex. However, tools to unscrew the valve were not included. Fortunately other tools made it easy. Pumping up was fortunately possible, but I am not yet completely satisfied with the rear tire, which is fine but not perfect. The front brake also squeaks/scratches despite braking in. I will soon make an appointment with Mantel for these points.

With deductions a bike what fun.
I first changed the tires from 29 ×2.35 to 29 ×2.25.... Lighter and faster! I had to find frightening that the internally routed shift and brake cables very very loud rattle in the frame and that it nervt. How I will solve the problem I do not know yet.... If I should re-route all trains I will definitely attach better brakes.

Top bike for the semi-amateur MTB
After comparing many different options side by side while enlisting the help of experienced MTBers it has become this Trek. Price quality is simply excellent especially with the extra vacation discount. All components are of a high standard so you don't have to make large additional investments with this model. Dropper is ideal for easy entry and fast descent. In addition, it shifts very fast and smooth and the suspension is also excellent for absorbing the shocks. Except for the color, I cannot find any major downsides. The fact that the suspension cannot be controlled from the handlebars is also not an issue while biking. Delivery via Mantel was good and fast. The only downside was that my gears were not properly adjusted so I had to do this myself.

Great bike, delivery could be much more careful....
I am happy with my new Trek, the bike feels very light and agile. I did have to get used to the tubeless tires since you can put a little lower pressure in them. Very nice off-road, but on road the tires seem to stick. The rolling resistance is really too high then (logical too). I am a little less satisfied with the delivery. The bike was neatly delivered on schedule and "prepared" by the delivery man. That is, the handlebars were straightened. The delivery man hardly had any tools at his disposal. I just checked that everything was working and the delivery man continued on his way. However, on my first real bike ride, I noticed that not all gears could be used, ergo, not properly adjusted. Also, there was no air in the front fork. Not insurmountable, but I am a layman when it comes to adjusting gears and do not have a special pump for the front fork. This annoyed me a bit, since I thought it would be taken care of in the store, but not when the bike is delivered to my home. So next time I will pick up the bike and not have it delivered to my home....

Fast, agile bike
I have the bike the about a month and I am very satisfied. It is fast, agile, shifts quickly and accurately. The fork gives every possibility to ride fast. Dropper also suits very well, even in the Netherlands. I am 1.90 and I sit well on size XL.

Excellent entry level bike
Simply a class bike that is worth every penny. It drives great and easy, the circuit works perfectly while driving in the forest on trails. Already my second Trek MTB.

Fantastic bike
My first real hardtail mtb. The dropper is a plus during descents. Standard tubeless tires. Mantel itself says the lockout on the handlebars is a disadvantage but it is very easy to operate while riding on top of the fork. So that is not a disadvantage in my opinion. Just a great bike for this money.

Finally an XC hardtail with dropper post!
Great mountain bike that is very light and nippy for an aluminum frame. The dropper post works great and is a great downhill experience. The tires come standard tubeless and along with the light wheels give excellent rolling resistance. The handlebars are very wide, though. The lockout is controlled on the fork, but it works just as well as from the handlebars. Price-quality scores this mtb anno 2022 excellent.
