Drives super
Rides super light, perfect shifting and brakes, especially coming from an unsprung 26 inch MTB! No comparison! However, upon delivery I would like to receive more information about suspension (weight of the rider/adjustment of suspension) and inner tube/tubeless suspension.

Nice, light and good handling MTB!
Wonderful bike! Shifts, brakes and steers great. I use the dropper post more often than I thought. The fact that the lockout cannot be operated from the handlebars is no problem for me, because you can easily reach it from the fork itself. Just do it in time and not when you are already off-road because then it is more difficult :-) Delivered roadworthy it was not quite. Came with flat tires and a bottle of latex. However, tools to unscrew the valve were not included. Fortunately other tools made it easy. Pumping up was fortunately possible, but I am not yet completely satisfied with the rear tire, which is fine but not perfect. The front brake also squeaks/scratches despite braking in. I will soon make an appointment with Mantel for these points.

With deductions a bike what fun.
I first changed the tires from 29 ×2.35 to 29 ×2.25.... Lighter and faster! I had to find frightening that the internally routed shift and brake cables very very loud rattle in the frame and that it nervt. How I will solve the problem I do not know yet.... If I should re-route all trains I will definitely attach better brakes.

Top bike for the semi-amateur MTB
After comparing many different options side by side while enlisting the help of experienced MTBers it has become this Trek. Price quality is simply excellent especially with the extra vacation discount. All components are of a high standard so you don't have to make large additional investments with this model. Dropper is ideal for easy entry and fast descent. In addition, it shifts very fast and smooth and the suspension is also excellent for absorbing the shocks. Except for the color, I cannot find any major downsides. The fact that the suspension cannot be controlled from the handlebars is also not an issue while biking. Delivery via Mantel was good and fast. The only downside was that my gears were not properly adjusted so I had to do this myself.

Great bike, delivery could be much more careful....
I am happy with my new Trek, the bike feels very light and agile. I did have to get used to the tubeless tires since you can put a little lower pressure in them. Very nice off-road, but on road the tires seem to stick. The rolling resistance is really too high then (logical too). I am a little less satisfied with the delivery. The bike was neatly delivered on schedule and "prepared" by the delivery man. That is, the handlebars were straightened. The delivery man hardly had any tools at his disposal. I just checked that everything was working and the delivery man continued on his way. However, on my first real bike ride, I noticed that not all gears could be used, ergo, not properly adjusted. Also, there was no air in the front fork. Not insurmountable, but I am a layman when it comes to adjusting gears and do not have a special pump for the front fork. This annoyed me a bit, since I thought it would be taken care of in the store, but not when the bike is delivered to my home. So next time I will pick up the bike and not have it delivered to my home....
