The heart of the Domane road bike
With the Isospeed decoupler in the rear of the frame, vibration damping is at an unprecedented high level. This makes this Domane an ideal bike for those who want to ride long distances comfortably. On good as well as not so smooth surfaces. As this Domane comes with 32 mm tyres and can even accommodate tyres up to 38 mm, it is not afraid of gravel roads!
Furthermore, the advanced frame of the SL 6 eTap has an easily accessible internal storage space under the bottle cage on the angled tube. Ideal for storing some small tools, an energy bar or an inner tube. How clever is that?!
Love the equipment
The equipment on the SL 6 eTap is one of the bike's greatest strengths. Indeed, this Domane features the SRAM Rival eTap groupset. This means that gear shifting is fully electronic and wireless. With the 2x12 speed drivetrain, which consists of a 46/33 crankset and an 10-36 cassette, you have a very large range, which means you can find the right gears at all times and in all cirumstances; especially when you're facing some serious climbs. As the hydraulic disc brakes provide plenty of braking power, you will always be in control.

Otherwise, this Trek Domane SL is fitted with high-quality Bontrager parts. The Paradigm Comp 25 wheelset has light and stiff rims and is tubeless ready. And thanks to the generous 25 mm inner rim width, the 32 mm tyres sit very nicely on them. This also contributes to the Domane's excellent handling.
