Comfort of the highest level
The Trek District+ 4's beautiful frame is enjoys smooth welds. This gives a very tightly finished frame that is almost indistinguishable from a carbon frame. The 545Wh battery is part of the frame. The result is tight and predictable handling. The low step-in ensures that you will sit comfortably, but slightly forward, for a pleasant riding feel. A big advantage is the manually adjustable handlebar stem, which allows you to perfect your sitting position to your liking. The suspension fork has ample suspension travel, namely 60mm. together with the suspension seat post and 60mm wide tyres, this electric bike is extremely comfortable.
Extremely powerful support
Support for this Trek District+ 4 comes from a powerful Bosch Performance Line mid-motor. A big hill or a southwesterly storm? Nothing stops this motor with 75Nm of torque. The 545Wh intube battery can additionally propel you for hours. With equal use of the different motor modes, you can get about 110 kilometers with a fully charged battery: A ride from Amsterdam to Nijmegen is no problem at all.
Sturdy gear hub and powerful brakes
The motor in this electric city bike is incredibly powerful. While hub gears are very reliable, however, most hubs have trouble handling this power. The Shimano Nexus 5E hub, however, has no problem with this. Moreover, with 5 gears, you have enough to choose from to cope with different terrains. This powerful e bike must also be able to come to a safe stop. Fortunately, it comes with easy-to-drive hydraulic disc brakes from Shimano.
