First of all, the frame. The Scott Scale RC 900 Pro frame is almost identical to the bike frame of world champion Nino Schurter. It is light and stiff and with its balanced geometry offers a lot of steering precision. The Rockshox SID front fork is also one of the best front forks you can wish for. It is light and dampens well. It is also nice and stiff for even better steering characteristics. Moreover, the lockout is located on the handlebars. With this lockout you can lock the front fork in the climb or descend mode. So you have enough damping and efficiency for every situation.
The Shimano XTR groupset is the highlight of this Scale RC 900 Pro. This new 1x12 groupset gives a huge range and very good shifting. You can also convert it to 11 speed to save even more weight. In al actuality this is proably not necessary, as the weight of this XTR is extremely impressive as well. The DT Swiss wheels are light and wide for ideal steering characteristics.
