The Ritchey WCS Venture Max V2 handlebars are specifically designed for use on gravel and in beach races. The drops are far apart and have a 24 degree angle to give you plenty of control on rough terrain. Their inside is anatomically shaped for great comfort and support.

The Ritchey WCS Venture Max V2 bars are made of triple-butted 7050 aluminium, which is lighter and stiffer than the widely used 6061 aluminium. They have a 4.6 degree backsweep at the bar top, and are compatible with all types of shifters.

As the name suggests, these bars are intended for adventurous rides, so take your gravel or all-road bike and go off road! Whether it's the beach, a forest floor or gravel you're riding on, these handlebars will absolutely bring you lots of fun!

Cocky good.

- Roel 26 February 2023

In the search for suitable handlebars for my gravel bike, I ended up with Ritchey again. Due to bikepacking trips I chose the widest version to have enough room for a bag. It takes some getting used to, but also gives a lot of stability. The shape of the handlebar bend is, as often with Ritchey idiosyncratically different from other brands, but it works. The top is flat and with a slight backsweep. This is very comfortable because it gives you more support surface for your hands. Definitely highly recommended.

Best first step to upgrade your gravel bike to.

- Tom 5 July 2021

Very nice upgrade for any gravel bike. Offers sufficient damping, especially compared to other aluminium handlebars. The flare makes descents on rough terrain a lot easier. Good weight. Well, as indicated on the product page, the flare does take some getting used to the position of the shifters, they have a different angle than when mounted on regular handlebars. Also, wrapping handlebar tape can be a bit tricky at the ends, this is due to the 'kink' in the drops.

Pros & Cons

Beautiful flare
Comfortable
Damping
Many positions possible
Handlebar tape wrap in the drops
Takes some getting used to angle of shifters
