Bought to replace a 10 year old winter bike that felt like a lump. Super happy with it - didn't expect it to be so comfortable and nippy. Yes, there are compromises on the component choice at this price point (brakes and gears) but this shouldn't be an issue for cycling in most of Holland. Do it!

Super bike, where the frame is designed for comfort, it exudes quality, the peripherals are correct for this price range, and won't let you down, just the 8-speed groupset, which works correctly but where parts are becoming hard to find. As for the rest, go for it...

I already made 100 km with the bike. It is good to have found a bike that is comfortable to ride for me as a 1.65 woman. It feels safe and fast.

Top impression, but I have only driven about 50km. Only the position of the handbrake lever takes some getting used to. You need big hands, long fingers.

Crashed at 30km/h into a car that stopped too late and therefore stopped in the right of way bike lane. all damage to the car, not to me or the bike.

I have been driving this bike for more than an year now and completed 1000 kms. I have no complaints so far and still driving with the same fun as I had in the beginning. Honestly I have ridden 100 km/ day also with little effort. Comparing to other bikes in this beginner's range I think it is one of the best in almost of the aspects. Most importantly its comfortable.

I am very new to cycling and have just completed 400 km in 2 weeks. The overall experience is amazing and I can easily go 40-50 km in one stretch with little effort. The frame is very stable and also the gear shift is very smooth. little noise when do cross chaining but that is pretty normal with any bike.

Very sturdy, does not scratch, thick frame and very aerodynamic. Cycles very lightly!

After 30 years of dreaming finally gathered the courage to buy a road bike to complement my mtb. After a long search I found 2 favorites that also fit within my not so big budget. 1 was no longer available, so this one remained. I ordered it and after 2 days it was delivered by a very friendly man who adjusted it so I could hit the road right away. Made the first kilometers, great! Time for autumn to end and spring to finally begin, not yet confident enough to ride on wet roads, but already totally in love with this gem.

I have had Trekkie for a few weeks now and have cycled a few trips with it. I am a novice cyclist and so far I like the bike a lot. It definitely takes getting used to the handlebars, shifting and the position of the brakes. Once you get the hang of how it lays on the track, the rest all comes naturally.

Ideal entry level race bike and value for money. Finely finished and the new livery looks good, much nicer in real life than in the product photos.

Fine bike to hit the road as a beginner cyclist. Gears shift well and brakes smoothly. After pumping up the tires a little, I was on my way right away!

As a beginner cyclist, this is the ideal bike for me to get to know the world. After 2 rides I feel good on the Trek Domane. The order and delivery was also just right with Mantel.

Simple but nice bike for touring. The Claris group is simple, shifting is good but takes a bit more power and you "only" have 8 rear sprockets. That sounds limited but for use in the Netherlands it is just fine.

It is even better than my expectations! It’s great that Trek made a good quality bike, such a fun to ride at this price point. Perhaps the best thing is frame: a high quality trek frame made of alpha aluminum, with shaped tubes to make the ride fun. And trek’s good quality carbon fork. And life-time frame warranty from trek! Before buying I had heard some negative comments about the brakes (and I was thinking to upgrade after buying), but I was surprised that brakes are very strong with good modulation. So it won’t need any upgrade there. I do feel the relatively large gap between gear levels, but quite slightly (I actually also find it an advantage: when I shift gear it makes a difference, so I don’t have to shift 2 times). Outer cable routing is nice because it is easier to repair when needed. It is also slightly lighter than many other road bikes at the same price range. My only slight disappointment was that the band cover of the handle bar is a lower quality than the disk versions of the same Domane series. But that is something needs a change once in a while anyway. Another disadvantage compared to the disk versions is, the crankset on this bike is one lower quality. But I knew that while buying and although it is easily upgradable, I don’t feel any downs about it at all!

After long doubts and unfortunately long waits due to limited stock, I decided to buy this bike. And .... I haven't regretted it for one day. This road bike is very qualitative for an entry-level model and in terms of price-quality ratio absolutely top! The delivery and communication via Mantel was also perfect.
