Schwalbe Pro One TLE

These (28mm) tyres together with new Ubique R50C wheels immediately installed tubeless, so a double upgrade. I managed to get the tyres around the rim quite easily, and even getting them to pop into the rim with a floor pump was not very complicated. With me, the rear wheel went a bit easier than the front wheel, which took me a couple of tries. Ridden a few rides now, feels more comfortable ánd is faster than my old Specialized Roubaix tyres.

I've been happily riding these tyres (30s and tubeless mount) for 2 years now. Very little impact on the rubber, despite the country road surfaces. Great comfort with 4 bar inflation.

Changed from Continental to Schwalbe for the first time and had a very good feeling

Top tyres, great on the road

Longevity and puncture resistance do not go well together. I want both :-) This tyre has a reasonable compromise: reasonably puncture-resistant and fast. In terms of longevity, I am less pleased. A rear tyre lasts 2000-2500 km here. Front tyre lasts up to 4000. For me, at the moment, the best compromise on the market (at this price).

The product is perfect and of good quality

For the first time a Schwalbe on the road bike, after always riding Continental. Reason was not the quality or traction, but the price (temporary offer). Fitting the tyre with a final rocker from a tyre lever. One tyre required a booster, twice. The other just went down well with the bicycle pump. Chose 28mm for comfort. We will see how it will turn out.

The tyres went around the rim easily. Easy to make tubeless (with compressor though). On my rims with 21mm internal width, the 28mm tyres also fall exactly 28mm wide. First ride impression is also fine.

I had a hard time heeling them. Not even at the petrol station. But once I did it, I was very satisfied. Perfect edge fit. Very good running, quiet, and they feel light.

Fine tyre, came fitted to my new bike. Reasonably durable, tyre lasted about 6000 km (rear), without punctures. Lots of grip but in my opinion mainly in dry conditions. Not as all-round as e.g. continental GP.

Fitted these tyres in the 30mm version on new wheels. Got them on the rim without tools and also pressurised without a booster. Fit very nicely immediately. On the road, the tyres give great confidence and grip. They will wear slightly faster than the heavier version, but you know that in advance. Out of the packaging, the tyres have quite a bit of extremely thin protruding rubber in the middle of the tread due to the mould in which they are made. Always looks a bit strange, but has completely worn off after 200 km or so.

After just a few rides, a small leak which was sealed by the sealant. Furthermore, several cracks in the driving surface. I no longer trust these tyres. Chose another brand.

I'm riding the tubeless version of the ProOne for the second time and am completely satisfied. I got by with the first set for a year and only had one puncture, which was quickly sealed by the sealant. As an all-rounder, I would use this set again and again. For greater puncture resistance or if you ride a lot over gravel, you should choose a tyre with even greater protection.

I have been riding schwalbe's for a few years now but in my opinion the quality has deteriorated a lot in the last year. The tyres square up quickly, and they puncture faster. In the last order, there was also colour difference in the skinwall flat compared to tyres that were already on my bike and.

Easy to mount, contrary to some comments here and in portals on DT SWISS ARC 1100 completely unproblematic, pleasantly solid ride feel at 5.5 bar, much cheaper compared to the Conti 5000

These are great, fast rolling tires. I set them up on hookless rims very easy. However, I have cycled with them for about 4,400 kms, and had to puncturs that the sealant could not fix, and now the tire has deformed, with a sort of bubble on the side. I need to throw it to the bin.

This tyre is very reliable and gives you confidence. It rolls well and is puncture resistant.

A lightweight tyre that lives up to the name "suppleness". But by far the tyre I've had the most punctures on. I won't be buying it again!

Beautiful tyre. Rides wonderfully. Good grip. I had very bad luck! Within 400 km front tyre had to put in a plug 2x. Rear 3x and had to stick the inside myself at home. And they deflate quickly within 2 days 3 bar out.

Bought a set of these tyres. After installation, they kept deflating (even more than a bar during a trip). After much searching, it turns out it is not the installation but the tyres themselves. The tyre cheeks are far too porous and lose a lot of air. Even with a ditch of sealant, they continue to deflate quickly. Therefore, as far as I'm concerned, highly recommended.

Nice, comfortable and fast tyres. Initial fitting was not easy, but that may have been down to me or my wheels, and apparently it helps to put your new tyres in the sun for a while first, as this gets them around your wheels more smoothly. I bought the tyres in the 28 mm version, and on my rims with internal width of 24 mm, they actually measure 30 mm wide.

Good first impression. I don't have strong hands but was fairly easy to fit, 1 tyre needed help for the final push. Did need the tyre booster to pop them into the rim. Tyres are also nicely round and don't sway, but they shouldn't for the price, although they are one of the cheaper premium TL tyres out there at the moment. No idea how hard-wearing they are, only been riding them for about 2 weeks.

Once I got (with special lift pliers) the tyres (front/rear) on, I immediately started driving them and the difference is noticeable (during winter I use all seasons). It drives a lot more pleasantly and tightly...

In addition to being very smooth, they give a great feeling of safety when cornering and descending.

Very nice tyres that roll nicely and have excellent puncture resistance and durability for such fast tyres. Have tried many tyres like vitoria corso and conti's, but since having these (now my 3rd set) I don't want anything else. Experience is based on tubeless riding.

Fitted as a tubetype for the time being but: very low rolling resistance, comfortable as long as not inflated above 5 bar, perfect handling on (very) wet roads. Allows you to follow a fast pack with confidence. Still need to test the tubeless

Very easy to fit if you start on the opposite side of the valve. And once you get to the valve, push it up as it were into the tyre and this makes the last part of the tyre mount even better on the wheel.

Second set of Pro One 25mm wide tubeless road tyres that I use and very very well, quite durable, the rear one 5000 km. And the front one even more. 284g. Heavy for me, no punctures and they heel very well. Much better overall than the GP5000, they last twice as long and weigh a little less.

Previously had these tyres, trip to other brand, suffered many punctures. Now back to Schwalbe again.

Nice looking tyres at a great price from Mantel and arrived in Uk super quick. Easy to fit onto the rims (Zipp 303s). They look great but lose a star for being really hard to get seated onto the rim. Not sure why, have had Pro One’s before and never had any issues. Tried high volume pump, compressor, air blaster, inner tubes in overnight, only thing that worked in the end was using an old inner tube as a strap around the outside of the tyre and then inflating it. Once seated they have kept their air even without sealant.

I would like to use this tyre with an inner tube for the time being, but for now I am running into a problem. The tyre is so tight that it does not set against the rim flange. Meanwhile, after several tries with the front wheel, I have managed it, but the rear wheel is still being worked on. I have never experienced this with other brands. Certainly not with an inner tube. Other than that, it looks solid.

After only a month of use I have to replace them because they have micro air leaks even with sealing fluid inserted and do not maintain pressure.

Easy tyre, but for tubeless you always need a tyre nipper, otherwise you can't get it around the rim with your bare hands. They never tell you that!

Bought as a replacement for the same schwalbe pro one TLE, I never change it, it resists everything, well except maybe the spike that got lodged in it, but I don't blame it ;)

After 1000km mounted tubeless, 1st front tyre puncture on the sidewall, 2nd rear tyre puncture on the sidewall. To sum up, I'm very disappointed with my purchase. I would not recommend this 28mm tyre.

Unfortunately, the tyre weighs considerably more than stated. In the 25 version it is 285 gr. (weighed by the rider) and in the 28 version even 330 gr. This is significantly more than stated and therefore misleading. Mounting and handling are ok, I can't say anything about puncture protection.

So far I have been riding Conti GP 5000 with inner tube. I really wanted to try tubeless tyres from Schwalbe. I was very pleasantly surprised because these tyres with carbon wheels fit perfectly and save a few grams of weight. Fast tyres with easy fitting from a specialist workshop. I am very satisfied all round.

I have purchased 9 of these tyres and am now running them on three different bikes and as yet have never had so much as a puncture.

I sometimes ride the Pro One TLE and sometimes the One TLE. The One TLE seems to be more durable, but the Pro One TLE runs a little better.

Not tubeless to use icm Enve-80 rim, the tire is too wide around the rim, with no possibility the tire pops. With a new Conti GP5000 it works immediately, so it's not the rim. Can therefore only use the tire with a tube and that in itself rides fine, feels like a Conti.

Fitting was tricky. Tire was easy to inflate with a regular bike pump though (Mavic UST rims). Second ride short bit of gravel path riding and a large cut in the tread that did not seal with latex. What a big setback with a tire of almost €50. I put a big sticker on the inside but when inflating the tire it starts to spread at the spot of the hole. Is this covered under warranty or is it bad luck and should I buy another tire next time?

I had some fear that they would leak (because of div reviews), but no problems with it. on the advice of an employee of mantel I first rubbed the cheeks on the inside with sealant. Putting them on and 'popping' them on went very smoothly, so smoothly that they popped off again when I widened the valve, so after spraying the sealant and pumping them up, put the valve in very quickly. In the beginning the front tire lost pressure quite quickly, but after a few rides the sealant apparently did its job and all that is needed is to re-inflate once a week. That's not too bad for tubeless. Tires ride great, good grip and comfortable. My first introduction to tubeless contains good.
