Reviews over the
Pirelli P Zero Race 4S

I no longer have these
They ride fine but puncture faster than I'm used to Go back to my old tyres

Top band !!!
Good 4-season tyre, good grip with low rolling resistance, easier to fit
Pros & Cons

Top tyre, a bit pricey though.
I had bought a new Trek road bike with cheap standard tyres on it, I was annoyed that my confidence on the bike with rain and turns just didn't come back like I had on my older road bike. It was clearly down to the tyres because after putting them on, the confidence is back! Making me more comfortable and faster!

With the F1 experience in it, it can't help but be a topper.
As a baptism of fire I put these tires on for the Amstel Gold Race and I must say: never any other! What a nice tire! Abandoned the Conti 5000 after multiple punctures and bought the Pirelli as a test, my findings so far: - Very comfortable, seems to be cushioning. - Very good grip, confidently cornering at high speed. - Easy to put on the rim. 10x easier than the Conti 5000 - Puncture resistance I can't judge after 1000km unfortunately, but I don't see much wear or cuts yet.

Totally recommended
It's clearly one of the great types of the market at this moment. So far all great

Pricey, but smooth band.
After just one ride it was clear to me; this is a pricey, but a very fine tire! After years of Continental 4000/5000, switched to their 4-Season tire. A bit stiffer, but what a difference in durability and puncture resistance. First as a "winter tire", but later I rode it year-round and really never had a flat! At some point an all-black version finally appeared. The "Black Edition", which unfortunately turned out to be a "Limited Edition". This version gave even more comfort and hardly drove you square. Incomprehensible that this tire is no longer in the range. Now to this Pirelli 4S. After an extensive search for an alternative, you quickly stumble upon this Pirelli. Even pricier than the Continental, but what a difference in handling! It rolls like a "summer tire," more comfort, gives a lot of confidence when cornering and ... is completely black. In reviews on sites that go deeper into the technical side, they come up pretty quickly. Of course, they compromise a little. And Mantel also gives a star less here for durability and puncture resistance, but 4 out of 5 stars is still very fine. I'm still riding these tires too briefly to judge at this point. The only setback is the tire sizing. On my 17C rims (19.5 mm outside dimension) the width of the 26 mm version, at 7 bar does not exceed 24 mm. (Pirelli indicates 25 mm). My preliminary conclusion; Continental has a very serious competitor with the Pirelli P Zero Race 4S! Definitely worth a try.

Superband
Before this, rode with the Pirelli Zero Race 30 mm wide. Due to a crack in the tire, I replaced them with the Zero 4S 26 mm. These definitely ride as well as the previous ones. Find them even better.

Beautiful but not for me
Once on the rim height difference. Seemed to be in part deeper in the rim. Was the same with both tires. Other wheels the same way. Don't know what that was due to. So sold on.

As always with Mantel, super fast delivery.
Rolled about 6,500 km flat-free with my previous set. Bit hard to get on the rim, but this may be just me :-), then bought one of those tire tongs, best decision ever :-)

Fine band
Purchased this tire as a replacement for Pirelli P zero race. In terms of handling they don't differ much. If they last long and are puncture resistant I will be super satisfied.

After the first ride you feel they bulge incredibly well for a 4s tire.

Great band
Very nice tires that bulge nicely. Good grip also in wet. Had to replace them after 7500 in because of a crack in the tire.

Convinced and even pleasantly surprised
I swapped my Hutchinson 25mm for these Pzero 4s in 28mm, and the comfort has exceeded my expectations. Grip is good, even on wet roads. I hope they'll hold up over time.

Soft, comfortable tire with good grip
Rather soft and comfortable tire. Good grip in all conditions, very easy to fit and good value for money. We'll see how long it lasts after 2000 or 3000 km.

Beautiful product
You never know how long the puncture resistance will last. But for now very satisfied
