Bought a bike online for the first time. Normally I would not do this. But because mantel has a good name in our region I took the thou. Mantel's good name is certainly true. PostNL very nicely took all the packaging and assembled the bike in front of the door. Great service and a great bike. Nice appearance. Good light. And the always on led lighting via hub dynamo is really great!

The bike rides light yet feels sturdy.

Pedals well, sits comfortably, good value for money. Made of light material so easy to lift through the house. The only downside is the built-in dynamo that cannot be "turned off", which sometimes makes pedaling a bit heavier unnecessarily, but not too annoying and if that's the only thing!

19 years ago I got a brand new Batavus Bologna, but now it was really time for a new bike. Again I chose a Batavus; what a treat! A good and sturdy bike. I like the way the lighting has been incorporated and a very nice matte black frame. Great service from Mantel as well; after 1 day I received the bike and it was even mounted by the delivery man. I am very happy with it. Hopefully I will be able to enjoy this bike for 19 years, I am very confident!

Neat bike, at an affordable price. Cycles smoothly, looks sturdy, nice appearance. The lights cannot be turned off, which always means a little extra resistance. Positioning of front light makes it difficult to cycle forward with arms on the handlebars. Moreover, the lighting is insufficient to be able to see in the dark. Delivery could be better; PostNL delivery not professional. Bike arrived with damage (probably not by delivery person). Replacement also damaged. Service Mantel is excellent, however, which made up for it despite the time burden.

I purchased this bike for my son to bike to high school. It is a solid bike with no fuss. No coat guards, height adjustable saddle, wiring neatly hidden in the frame. The LTD version appealed to us because of the full dark/matt finish. The green lettering of the standard variant does not appeal to us as much. We purchased the 57cm variant, with the saddle coming out at 94cm in the lowest position. This would be good additional info for the website! Given another review, the normal version seems to come out at about 91cm, so the LTD saddle is about 3cm higher.

Returned to mantel in Elst after 1x bike because the chain was scraping. In the chain case there is not much space and 2 brushes make the space even smaller. Why are there brushes in a closed chain case, which ensures that the chain stays clean? Brushes out, problem solved. Great and friendly service.

This bike pedals very lightly, is super maneuverable and I can ride very smoothly on it. The good lighting also makes me feel very safe in the dark. The first days I had to get used to the saddle, it is a bit hard. I think the price-quality ratio is very good.

The bike has a lot of speed in a short time, is also attractive to young people. The built-in chain guard is pleasant. The choice of 3 gears is ideal for users who take less care of the bike (young people) nice and solid there is little that can break.

City bikes are often a bit boring and dull, but the current generation looks just a bit better and this one clearly stands out; fairly straight handlebars are adjustable in angle, shaped tubes, sporty saddle, nice luggage carrier, special headlight. It is solid, few plastic parts. Rides, shifts and brakes wonderfully. For a city bike quite light.

We were looking for a medium-sized adult bike, relatively lightweight bike that can support front seat for our baby. We successfully installed Thule Yepp Mini (with slim adapter) in front. I think we can also easily install later seat at the back for our older daughter. I think the bike is strong enough to handle front and back child seats. We tried it for basic and relatively flat terrain to and from the city and so far the 3-speed was sufficient for our ride.

Have had the bike for a few weeks now and am very satisfied. It pedals lightly and has reliable lighting. Fitting the pedals was a bit of a search (for me) for L/R (it's on the extreme metal edge) but then it was easy. I hope it will last for years to come!

We are very satisfied with the delivery of the bike. It was delivered neatly packaged and assembled at our doorstep. Mantel was not the cheapest, but still the only one who could deliver this bike. What we find a little unfortunate is that the maintenance service ( which must be done after three weeks after purchase, necessary to maintain the warranty) is not included in the price.
