The H10 includes the comfortable Polar Pro strap. This strap is made of fabric with high-quality electrodes that ensure precise heart rate measurements. This makes the Polar H10 heart rate monitor more accurate than ever. Ideal, because it enables you to see how your heart rate changes during exercise immediately. The H10 is waterproof, so you can even wear it to go swimming.
This heart rate sensor truly deserves to be called 'smart'. As soon as it connects with the Polar app, it'll check for software updates. Polar sends regular software updates to continue to improve the device's accuracy. In addition, the Polar H10 has an internal memory that can store one training session's worth of data. That means you can analyse your heart rate data after your workout without having to carry your bike computer, smartphone or watch during the workout. When training with multiple devices, like during a triathlon, it's possible to connect the Polar H10 to two devices simultaneously because the H10 emits 2 Bluetooth signals.
ANT+ connectivity allows you to connect this device to other devices that support the ANT+ protocol. That means products from different manufacturers can connect with each other smoothly. Many bike computers and compatible sensors feature this wireless technology through which all your sensors and devices can easily exchange data, so you'll have all your data in the right place.
Bluetooth
You can easily connect this product to most smartphones and view your training data in all your favourite fitness apps, such as Strava, Runkeeper, Endomondo and Wahoo Fitness, thanks to its Bluetooth connectivity.

For me, it’s still a great strap when used with a Garmin watch and the Garmin app.
The band provides accurate information about heart rate via the EGG Analysis app, but I haven’t yet been able to get data for activities such as biking via the Polar Flow app, which won’t connect to the band.

Poor build quality of the tyre
Two years ago, I switched from Garmin heart rate monitors to Polar, because the Garmin often broke down after I’d replaced the battery (of course, just after the warranty had expired). Initially very happy with the Polar; no problems even after replacing the battery. But after about a year, the connector on the strap itself broke (where you attach the sensor). I was sent a new strap, but it’s now been a year and I’m having the same problem with the replacement strap. I use the monitor for running and biking, on average five times a week. The sensor has to be removed from the strap, otherwise the battery drains immediately.
