The Polar H9 heart rate sensor comes at a more affordable price than the Polar H10 heart rate sensor. It can be connected with your watch, cycle computer or fitness device via Bluetooth, ANT+ or 5kHz, and is compatible with the free Polar Beat app. A unique feature is that the H9 can connect to a Bluetooth and an ANT+ device simultaneously, so you can see your heart rate on your sports watch and bike computer at the same time. This makes the Polar H9 a true all-rounder! With its 400-hour battery life, a battery lasts about a year if you train for one hour a day.
You will find real-time heart rate monitoring, training goals and guidance, and performance analysis in the Polar Beat app. You'll also have access to Polar Flow for more extensive data analysis and an overview of progress over a longer period of time. This device is compatible with iOS mobile devices: iPhone 5s and later, with iOS 12 or later; Android mobile devices with Bluetooth 4.0 capability, and Android 6.0 or later. That means you can use the Polar H9 with most modern smartphones. If you're looking for a quality heart rate sensor with the aim of using it with your favourite Polar device or smartphone, choose the Polar H9!

Waterproof, suitable for swimming
The Polar H9 is suitable for use during long swims. Polar has not had an independent party test the product for water resistance, which is why it doesn't have an official IP rating, but Polar has done a lot of testing itself. As a result, Polar states that the product is water-resistant up to 30 metres deep. In practice, this means that you can go swimming with this product, but we don't recommend actually diving to a depth of 30 metres with it!
ANT+
ANT+ connectivity allows you to connect this device to other devices that use the ANT+ protocol. That means products from different manufacturers can be linked smoothly to this device. Many bike computers and compatible sensors support this wireless technology through which all your sensors and devices can exchange data easily, so you can have all your data in the right place.
Bluetooth
You can easily connect this product to most smartphones and view your training data in all your favourite fitness apps, such as Strava, Runkeeper, Endomondo and Wahoo Fitness, thanks to its Bluetooth connectivity.
