Pros & Cons
Pros & Cons
- With a battery life of 400 hours, a battery will last for about a year if you train one hour a day.

You will find real-time heart rate monitoring, training goals and guidance, and performance analysis in the Polar Beat app. You'll also have access to Polar Flow for more extensive data analysis and an overview of progress over a longer period of time. This device is compatible with iOS mobile devices: iPhone 5s and later, with iOS 12 or later; Android mobile devices with Bluetooth 4.0 capability, and Android 6.0 or later. That means you can use the Polar H9 with most modern smartphones. If you're looking for a quality heart rate sensor with the aim of using it with your favourite Polar device or smartphone, choose the Polar H9!
The Polar H9 is suitable for use during long swims. Polar has not had an independent party test the product for water resistance, which is why it doesn't have an official IP rating, but Polar has done a lot of testing itself. As a result, Polar states that the product is water-resistant up to 30 metres deep. In practice, this means that you can go swimming with this product, but we don't recommend actually diving to a depth of 30 metres with it!
ANT+
ANT+ connectivity allows you to connect this device to other devices that use the ANT+ protocol. That means products from different manufacturers can be linked smoothly to this device. Many bike computers and compatible sensors support this wireless technology through which all your sensors and devices can exchange data easily, so you can have all your data in the right place.
Bluetooth
You can easily connect this product to most smartphones and view your training data in all your favourite fitness apps, such as Strava, Runkeeper, Endomondo and Wahoo Fitness, thanks to its Bluetooth connectivity.

Great heart rate monitor at an acceptable price
A lightweight and accurate heart rate monitor. Great device, easy connection to Garminwatch.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Does exactly what you need.
With previous chest straps, it was often a puzzle when no signal appeared on my Wahoo. Was it due to the battery? Was there an accidental connection to my smartwatch as well? After a month, I haven't had these kinds of problems at all. Just a quick signal and through the app you can check if the battery is still okay. Apart from that, it just sits comfortably. No bells and whistles, but I don't need that with a chest strap.
Pros & Cons
3 / 5
After 3 disappointments, I still hope I bought a good heart rate monitor.
I have used it 3 times now and every time I have the same problem. When I cycle at a good pace, my heart rate meter indicates +/- 120, which is normal for me.If I increase my effort seriously, e.g. when going up a mountain, my heart rate meter drops to +/- 35 and sometimes even to 0.Strange but true, when I exert myself, my heart rate drops, at least this is what my Garmin indicates. If my son puts the heart rate meter on, it works normally.
