Description
This cycling helmet has vents and internal ducts that perfectly regulate air currents during high and low cycling speeds. The result is a cool head in all circumstances. The unique shape of this helmet improves the aerodynamic properties and reduces the air resistance during cycling. The remaining air that moves over the helmet, is controlled due to the aerodynamic rear ridge. This reduces air turbulence and further improves the aerodynamic properties of the helmet and the cyclist.
POC uses the most optimised materials to deliver the highest quality helmets possible. The Ventral Air SPIN is extremely light, but has a fully wrapped unibody shell construction to increase safety and helmet integrity. Its EPS liner with targeted and optimized density provides the ideal balance of low weight and crash protection. The SPIN system in this helmet is a special gel incorporated in the helmet pads. This gel ensures that during a crash, the helmet can move slightly relative to the head. DUring a fall, the force of impact is better absorbed.
To finish off this helmet, it has a lightweight size adjustment system and ergonomic straps that combine to form a perfect fit. In addition, it comes with an ‘eye garage’ that allows you to securely store your cycling glasses. This is a great fit and also very safe. Recommend to all POC gear is so good that I have 2 helmets, one white and one black.

Light and comfortable
Would score higher, but ventilation just ok. Switched from Prevail, and was hoping for more airflow, but can’t really feel it. But overall a quality product.

Top quality - worth the extra
Great lid. Wanted something with increased (or the best) ventilation as I get a very warm head and it can have repercussions after a ride. This is very effective. It feels cooler on the brow/forehead and it's neat how I don't get any sweat running down over my sunlgasses and yet the pads are not saturated. The fit is excellent - non intrusive and you don't feel it anywhere. I went for the medium and I'm usually a 58 head size. Enough room for a cap or increased bouffant. Looks good - nice and white which is the fastest colour. Don't skimp on your head is my view - worth every penny. Great service from mantel - first time used - and I like the branded box it came in.

Top quality
Came form a Kask Majito used for the last 5 years. Excellent airflow on this POC. I get a sweaty head! Completed 50+ mile ride in 23 to 28 degrees and it's excellent - no sweat running down onto the lenses and didn't feel the usual throbbing head as much after the ride (meant I could go out for some beers). You can actually feel there is much better airflow to the brow than the Kask. Weirdly (but good) the pads weren't saturated after the ride. In addition the fit is brilliant - again an improvement on the Kask and only needed to adjust the wheel at the back to fit as you'd expect. Weight is good - didn't notice it on. My Oakley Jawbreakers felt better with their arms outside the straps rather than under (prefer under) so may need to fiddle with the straps if I want this. Went for the Hydrogen white which I believe is faster, safer and lighter than other colours ;-). Impressive. Top service from Mantel - swift delivery and it comes in a sweet Mantel branded box. Nice touch.
