Benefits of wax
Mantel Bio Chain Wax isn't a chain oil: it's a chain wax. Wax is thicker than oil and hardens after you apply it, so it'll form a sturdy, protective layer that doesn't gather dirt. This reduces your drivetrain's friction, so you'll bike faster with the same amount of effort. In contrast with liquid chain oil, which gathers dirt and dust, this wax will keep your drivetrain clean and well lubricated. Ideal for mountain bikes, gravel bikes and road bikes, but this wax is also suitable for city bikes and e-bikes!
Step 1: Clean your chain with a suitable degreaser, like the Mantel Drivetrain Cleaner. Make sure your chain is completely free of dirt and grease.
Step 2: Allow your chain to dry fully before you continue to step 3.
Step 3: Apply Mantel Chain Wax by dripping one drop of wax per link into the inner part of the chain. While doing this, move your chain by turning your pedals with your hands, in the opposite direction of the one you would cycle in. This makes sure the wax is distributed well.
Step 4: Allow the applied wax to harden completely, and repeat the process starting from step 3.
Step 5: Allow the second layer of wax to harden completely, too, before getting on your bike!
The next steps
If you've applied this wax, you won't have to clean your chain entirely before reapplying wax. Simply wipe the chain down with a dry cloth and apply a new layer of wax. How often you'll have to do this depends on the weather conditions in which you use your bike. As a rule of thumb: reapply wax to your road bike's chain after every 200 kilometres, and reapply wax to your mountain bike's chain after every 100 kilometres.

Good product but too liquid
The wax is a little too liquid compared with Squirt, which is thicker and clings better to the chain. Use a cloth to wipe up any excess on the floor.

Great for the dry season, similar to Squirt
Fine product. Do not notice any difference from Squirt. So also has the same pros and cons in my experience. First degrease and dry the chain well, then it is much less laborious than oil. Lubricates just as well in dry weather as oil. When wet, it doesn't stick well. And it offers virtually no protection against rust in wet weather, especially when combined with road salt. Besides, you have to remember to lubricate it in time so that it has time to dry on the and cure. Use it myself only in summer, and really like it much better than oil then. The chain always stays clean, dirt doesn't stick to it. After riding, a cloth along it and a new layer on. Takes me 1 minute. Always clean hands, calves and clothes.

Fine chain wax
Chain was in dire need of a new coat of your wax. This one was easy to apply and took nice care of the chain again.
