Complete
Lapierre has developed a mountain bike which provides you with all the versatility you need. A progressive frame, excellent equipment and a high quality damping system will give you many challenging, high-speed kilometres.
Are you looking for a modern mountain bike that combines great speed with control on challenging trails? Then read on about the Lapierre XR 7.9
The heart of the Lapierre XR 7.9 is its lightweight carbon frame. With a headtube angle of 67 degrees, this is one of the most progressive cross country full-suspension mountain bikes. The carbon makes the MTB very light and stiff, allowing you to steer steadily and responsively. The cables run through the frame, which protects them against splashing mud and other dirt. The fork has a FOX Rythm 32 Float 3 Air Grip 3 damper, with 3 different lockout modes. The FOX FLOAT DPS, Perf-Series Remote up also has 3 different adjustment modes, allowing you to adjust the MTB as personally and efficiently as possible.
Decent shifting
SRAM SX01 and GX parts are responsible for this MTB's gear-shifting. These parts make ensure reliable and smooth shifting. The mountain bike has 12 gears and 11-52 cassette. This gives the MTB a very wide shifting range, so you'll be able to reach the top in the right gear, even on steep hills. Thanks to the single-speed crank, you do not have to worry about losing your chain. Moreover, this MTB is also very lightweight. The SRAM hydraulic disc brakes ensure powerful braking, even in adverse conditions. In addition, these brakes are easy to modulate, so you'll be able to nicely cut some corners.
Fast tyres
The tyres on this MTB are Maxxis Rekon EXO Race tyres. These tyres roll smoothly and are very supple. They also have good protection against punctures. However, these tyres do not provide enough grip in very muddy conditions.

A great machine
A fantastic bike. I went from a hardtail to a fully and haven't regretted it for a moment. On descents, the advantage speaks for itself, the bike guides you through turns quickly and confidently and takes you fresh to the foot of the next climb. On the climb, you lock dampers easily with the lockout on the handlebars. Beforehand I was wary of missing some stiffness compared to a hardtail, in practice I don't suffer from anything! Once again: great bike!

Vive Le Lapierre!
The new Lapierre is truly a top bike. The redesigned frame is nice and eye-catching and the head angle makes for reliable handling. The equipment is more than good enough and Lapierre has saved money in places where it can, such as the chain and cassette. Furthermore, there is room for two water bottles and the bike has carbon handlebars which contribute even more to the riding comfort. In any case, I am very enthusiastic about it.
