Hope has set the new standard with the new Tech 3 levers. They have managed to retain the main features of the Tech Evo brake caliper, but with the looks and compatibility of the Race levers. The Tech 3 levers provide 5% more stopping power than the predecessor.
The most important feature of the Tech 3 levers are the adjustable reach and Bite Point Control (BPC). The Tech 3 lever can be used directly with the Shimano I-Spec shifters. For the Sram rider there is a minimalist direct mount adapter available.
The X2 caliper is a reliable caliper with a lot of stopping power. This is the best brake for cross country riders! This brake can also be used for during harder trail rides, thanks to the low weight, adjustment possibilities and stopping power.
