The modern aluminium frame of the Cannondale Trail SL 2 has a sophisticated geometry that ensures good riding characteristics. It makes the bike nimble and increases its handling, but at the same time gives great stability at higher speeds on a descent thanks to the relatively flat 68-degree headtube angle. 148 x 12 thru axles for more stiffness, internal cable routing and dropper post ready. It's all there. The 29er-specific frame is also nicely finished and even has attachment points for a carrier and a stand to make it suitable for everyday use if necessary. This makes the Trail SL 2 very versatile. Together with the smoothly responsive air-suspended Rockshox Judy front fork, which provides control over bumps and plenty of steering precision, you have a very solid bike base.

For this bike, Cannondale has opted for the Shimano Deore 1x12 speed groupset with SLX derailleur. This allows you to change gears smoothly and hassle-free at all times. Thanks to the 11-51 cassette, you have a particularly long range to tackle even the steepest climbs. And on descents, you can always rely on Shimano's powerful MT400 hydraulic brakes. This will bring you to a safe and controlled stop.

Thanks to quality components like an FSA handlebar, Cannondale's own Ergo XC saddle and grips, seatpost and stem, the Cannondale Trail SL 2 is completely balanced.

Very nice bike for a good price! The only (real) downside was that no simple spanner was supplied. This was a bit of a hassle in the early morning to still be able to leave with the bike. (Students with toolboxes are hard to find ;) )
