The Cube Reaction SLX is a fantastic aluminium hardtail mountain bike for keen beginners as well as advanced mountain bikers. Whether you want to tear up the singletracks in your area or simply ride at a good pace along unpaved trails, this bike more than holds its own. The Aluminium Lite frame is nice and stiff yet forgiving, meaning every pedal stroke counts while also allowing for the odd steering mistake.
Thanks to Cube’s clever Size Split system, you will get a bike that is proportionate to your height. If you choose a size XS or S, you will be riding on agile 27.5 inch wheels. Sizes M and up are fitted with efficient 29 inch wheels that roll over obstacles super easily.

The double-butted aluminium frame keeps the Reaction's weight down to 13.3 kg without compromising on strength or stiffness. The cables are routed internally via the headset. Not only does this look incredibly neat but it also perfectly protects your gear and brake cables from mud, rainwater and branches.
RockShox Recon Silver RL Air fork
Using a shock pump, you can easily customise the air suspension fork to suit your body weight so you always get exactly the right level of damping. Are you riding on a tarmac cycle path or tackling a steep climb? Use the OneLoc lock-out lever on the handlebars to lock the suspension so you don’t waste any energy due to the fork compressing.

The ideal size of the Reaction SLX depends on your height and inside leg measurement. Generally speaking, if you are up to about 1.65 m tall, you should choose a size XS or S with 27.5 inch wheels. Can I fit a kickstand or lock to the Cube Reaction SLX mountain bike?
You can easily fit a kickstand thanks to the Flat Mount (FM) kickstand mounting point on the frame of the Reaction SLX. It is ideally compatible with Cube and ACID kickstands.
Unfortunately, there are no mounting points for a frame lock; we recommend using a separate chain lock for safe and secure parking.
