The Cube Reaction Pro mountain bike is a great bike for beginners as well as more experienced riders. The model has proven itself in previous years; this will be no different for the new 2023 model!
The Cube Reaction Pro has a lightweight aluminium frame in which all cables are concealed to prevent damage from dirt such as splashing mud. For high control Cube has selected the RockShox Judy Silver air suspension fork. This fork has 100 mm of travel and a lock-out system. A lock-out system allows you to operate the fork's travel during cycling and to save energy by blocking the suspension in areas where you need little or no suspension.
High-quality shifting
Shift gears on this mountain bike with the high-quality Shimano XT/Deore components. These gears are durable and shift smoothly at all times. Thanks to the large cassette, the 12 gears provide a good range so you can climb steep hills with ease. The absence of a front derailleur makes cleaning the bike easier. Besides speeding up, it is also important to be able to stop in time. To this end, Cube has chosen to use Shimano's high-quality XT brakes. These hydraulic disc brakes ensure excellent braking performance in all conditions. So even on a wet trail you know you will stand still when you need to.
Excellent tyres
The Racing Ray & Racing Ralph tyres on this bike are a popular combo that ensures low rolling resistance and high grip, and is tubeless ready.

Beautiful bike, good parts
I was looking for an affordable MTB alongside my road bike. The Cube Reaction Pro is a beautiful bike to look at. Frame a bit darker than in the photos. Build quality of the frame is very tight. Good components with the XT brakes in particular standing out. Derailleur shifts super fast and smooth.

Great purchase for beginning cyclist who does want quality for not too much money
Since I have virtually 0 experience with MTBs I cannot compare the bike to others. I have now taken it through the mud of the polder, the hills of the Ardennes and heather of the Veluwe and am very pleased with how smoothly the bike keeps riding in all these conditions.
