The Next Chapter: Cube 2027 just launched!
The Cube 2027 collection is ready, and there's plenty to choose from this year!
Update, 9 September 2026: Cube launches the new Agree C:62 models with not only new colours but also completely new frame designs! Read all about it here.
---
12 August 2026: Cube has been building bikes in Waldershof, Germany, since 1993, and you can tell from their range that they have a wealth of experience and offer great value for money, without the quality suffering for it. From a city bike you'll ride to work for years to a carbon race machine that pros compete on - it all comes out of the same catalogue.
The range runs to almost 100 models, and here we will take you through the Cube 2027 collection series by series. We will start on the sporty side with the road bikes, gravel bikes and mountain bikes, and then move on to the city bikes, e-bikes and cargo bikes. This way, you will see in one go which Cube model fits your plans.
To answer a question we get every year, we can say that, with Cube, a new model year certainly doesn't mean that all bikes have new frame designs, although there are plenty of new developments to share this year. Often it is mainly the colours and the spec that change, and the series stays exactly as good at what it was already good at. Where something really does change in the new Cube bikes for 2027, we will say so clearly. And there's plenty of news!

Cube Road Bikes
Cube has been proving for years that you don't have to pay top dollar for a fast bike on the road. The 2027 road bikes run from an affordable first road model to a race machine that comes straight out of the pro peloton. Here's the line-up.
Cube Attain - for comfortable distances
The Attain is Cube's endurance road bike, built for long rides where you're still sitting comfortably at the end. You can have it in aluminium and in C:62 carbon. This C:62 is Cube's own carbon grade, where the number stands for the percentage of carbon fibre: the higher it is, the lighter and stiffer the frame.
For 2027 there's one improvement you will feel straight away: Every single Attain comes with hydraulic disc brakes, the entry-level model included. That makes the biggest difference in the rain and on long descents, because you need far less hand strength to modulate them neatly.
What's also new: The Attain rolls on Schwalbe tyres with the Clik Valve system. Before your very first ride, do check whether your pump fits these, so you will not get any surprises out on the road. Have a look at all versions of the Cube Attain here.
Cube Agree C:62 - a new frame, lower weight and even greater aerodynamics
The Cube Agree C:62 is the fast all-rounder that sits between the Attain and the Litening – aerodynamic and light enough for your first races, and also comfortable enough for long endurance rides. For 2027, the frame and carbon fork have been redesigned: Together, they are 150 grams lighter and 10.4 watts more aerodynamically efficient than in its predecessor.
Tyre clearance has also been improved: The Agree C:62 can now accommodate tyre widths up to 36 mm. It comes fitted with 30 mm tyres as standard, but if you want to ride on wider, more comfortable tyres in winter or take your bike along a stretch of gravel, they will fit straight in. The new seatpost has an aero profile with flex, which you will notice in your lower back when riding on rough roads.
Another thing that stands out is that every model comes with a power meter as standard, from the EX with SRAM Rival AXS to the SLT with Dura-Ace Di2. The SLT and SLX versions also include the new aero frame bag, the Pro and EX versions do not, but it is available separately.
Cube Litening Aero C:68X - a new aero frame, developed with the pros
The Cube Litening Aero C:68X is Cube's aerodynamic competition bike, and for 2027 it gets a completely new frame. It was developed together with pro riders and cuts through the air even better than its predecessor. If you participate in criteriums, or simply like going fast on flat roads, this is your bike.
The new, even more aerodynamic cockpit is cleverly thought out: It fits the spacers of the Agree and, of course, the new Litening spacers, so from 2027 onwards you can swap cockpits between those models. This is really convenient if you want to fine-tune your riding position later on.
New in the line-up is the Orbit version, with a single solid chainring up front and 13 gears at the back. A 1x13 drivetrain like that means no front derailleur, fewer parts that need servicing, and only one shifter to think about, and on top of that even better aerodynamics and even less weight!
Cube Litening Air C:68X - for super light climbing
The Cube Litening Air C:68X is the ultra-lightweight little brother of the Aero - the same race class, but with saving weight as the main goal. C:68X is the best carbon Cube makes, and here they use it to build a frame that weighs remarkably little without reducing stiffness.
The Air gets the new cockpit that fits the Agree spacers too. Torn between the Air and the Aero versions? If you love riding in the hills and mountains, go for the Air. If your preferred terrain is mostly flat, the Aero is the more logical choice. Both are lightning fast, but on different courses. Find all the models under our Cube road bikes.
Cube Gravel Bikes
Cube Nuroad - the gravel bike you kit out yourself
The Nuroad is Cube's gravel bike with a drop bar, wide tyres and the freedom to go off-road whenever you feel like it. You can have it in aluminium and in C:62 carbon.
For 2027, there are extra bolt holes in the frame and fork for easy attachment, as needed, of bags, mounts and/or racks, without the hassle of straps that work loose after an hour of bumping around. Going bikepacking? Then build it up into an adventure bike. Riding it to work during the week? Remove that kit again just as easily.
All Nuroads come with hydraulic disc brakes, and the aluminium Nuroad Race is also available as an FE version: Fully Equipped, so kitted out for everyday use. And no, a gravel bike isn't only for off-road use: It rides perfectly well on tarmac, you just roll a little more calmly than on a road bike. That is exactly why this is the bike for many people when only one fits in the shed. Have a look at all Cube Nuroad models or at our full gravel bike range.
Cube Fitness Bikes
Cube Nulane - for gravel fun with a flat bar
The Nulane is Cube's fitness bike, which means it has almost the same frame as the Nuroad gravel bike but with a flat bar. So you get the same versatility but with a riding position many people find more comfortable and easier to see the road from.
This is a question we often get: "I'd like a gravel bike but I'd rather have a flat bar. Which bike should I get?" The Nulane is the solution. It is ideal for forest tracks and cycle paths, sporty commuting and building fitness without being stretched out in a racing position.
The Nulane Pro is the entry-level model with a chain and derailleur, either plain or as an FE version. If you want as little maintenance as possible, the Nulane Deluxe EXC FE is an interesting option, with an aluminium frame, belt drive and fully equipped from the get-go. In carbon, it begins with the Nulane One; one level up is the C:62 SLX, which adds a sportier geometry; and the next level is the C:62 SLT, which has the same foundation but with a better groupset and finer finish. Find all of them under our fitness bikes.
Cube Mountain Bikes
Cube has been building mountain bikes since the very beginning, and this is reflected in the width of the MTB range, which takes you from your very first ride in the woods all the way to a carbon competition bike.
Cube Aim - the tough hardtail that also does the school run
The Aim is Cube's aluminium entry-level mountain bike, and more versatile than that word suggests. It looks tough, handles the woods just fine and is at the same time the bike your son or daughter can ride to school every morning.
You can see that double purpose in the FE versions, which come as standard with a kickstand, mudguards, a rack and lights. The only thing you will still want with it is a good lock. This, by the way, is exactly what parents ask us when they pick out an Aim FE as a school bike with their child; and yes, our workshop mechanics will install the frame lock for you!
Cube Reaction - the hardtail that grows with you
The Cube Reaction is the hardtail MTB Cube uses to look after everyone from beginner to racer: one series, three frame materials. Hardtail means suspension at the front and a rigid rear end, which makes the bike light, direct and easy to look after.
Just starting out? The aluminium Reaction is a lovely starting point with an air suspension fork. Want more? The carbon Reaction C:62 is lighter and stiffer, which you will notice as soon as the trail points up. And right at the top sits the Reaction C:68X for those racing the clock. Have a look at all hardtail mountain bikes. They also exist with electric support, you can read more about that further down.
Cube Stereo - full suspension for the rougher trails
The Stereo is Cube's full-suspension mountain bike, or "fully". With suspension at the front and the rear, you keep more grip on rough ground and take far fewer hits. If you're heading out on more ambitious trails, full suspension is what makes the difference between a fun ride and a ride that leaves your arms finished after an hour.
The non-electric Stereo comes in two flavours. The Race model is meant for anyone just getting into properly technical terrain: forgiving and fun from the first ride. The C:62 Super model is for the experienced mountain biker, with a carbon frame that is lighter and offers more steering precision. If you mostly ride quiet forest tracks, the Reaction is plenty. If you go looking for the roots and the steep sections, you will last much longer on the Stereo. Take a look at our full-suspension mountain bikes. They are also available with electric support, more on that further down.
Cube City Bikes
Not everyone wants or needs a motor. The following three series run on your own legs, and every one of them is surprisingly light.
Cube Kathmandu - the high-end trekking bike
The Kathmandu is Cube's more luxurious trekking and hybrid bike, and the star of this category. You get a better fork, more comfortable suspension, smoother-running hubs and a gear system that keeps going noticeably longer.
That makes this the bike for sporty riders and those heading off on a cycling holiday. Loaded up with panniers, it still steers nicely, and on a long day you will notice how little it weighs. Have a look at Cube's non-electric trekking bikes here.
Cube Touring - for all-round use and a light ride
The Touring is the Kathmandu's little brother, with the same all-round approach but with somewhat simpler parts and a friendlier price tag as a result.
Do you mostly ride shorter distances, or want a light touring bike for everyday use and the occasional cycling holiday? This series here is for you and will give you all the riding fun you're looking for. You will find both the Kathmandu and the Touring series under our trekking bikes.
Cube Editor - for a sporty city ride
The Editor is Cube's cool urban bike that offers a slightly more active riding position than a classic city bike, yet is not at all a road bike.
The FE versions come complete with mudguards, a rear luggage rack, a kickstand, pedals and lights. So on the day it arrives you simply get on and ride away! Discover the different models here.
Cube E-Bikes
This is where the biggest part of the Cube 2027 collection sits, and the choice is wide: from a light city e-bike to an e-MTB you can dive into the woods with. Above all, pay attention to the drivetrain because that is where the real difference between the various series lies.
Cube Editor Hybrid - the lightweight and agile option
The Cube Editor Hybrid is the light, sporty e-bike for all city rides. It is built to be quick and agile, and out on the road you barely notice there's a motor in there.
You pick the drivetrain yourself: The One runs a derailleur, the Pro a low-maintenance belt, and the SLT combines that belt with an Enviolo hub that shifts for you automatically. This last one is delightful in town, because at traffic lights you no longer have to think about a thing. On top of that, the Editor Hybrid models run different Bosch motors, either a mid-motor or the new rear hub motor!
Cube Supreme Hybrid - your ideal all-rounder in the city
The Cube Supreme Hybrid is the comfortable all-round electric bike for everyday use. Groceries, commuting, a nice evening ride along the river - it does all of it, and with pedal assist you can rely on.
The Comfort versions run a chain with hub gears, which is reliable and simple. The Deluxe versions have a belt drive, so no lubing and no dirty trouser legs. Have a look at all our electric city bikes.
Cube Aruba Hybrid - the same body in a different jacket
The Aruba Hybrid is basically a Supreme Hybrid, only in a fresher colour. If that is the look you're after, you get the same familiar technology underneath.
One thing worth knowing is that the handlebar sits on a fixed stem, so the bar height is set. If you like your position to be spot on, come and try it, or take a look at the Supreme, where there's more you can adjust.
Cube Touring Hybrid - for long distances with a pedal assist system
The Cube Touring Hybrid is the e-bike for those who really cover distances - day trips, cycling holidays or a decent commute.
The One has a chain with a derailleur, a rigid seatpost and 75 Nm of torque. The Pro lifts that to 85 Nm and adds a dropper post, which lets you drop the saddle at the push of a button so getting on and off is easy. The SLX also has 85 Nm, and combines a belt drive with a suspension seatpost for more comfort.
Cube Kathmandu Hybrid - the workhorse for adventure
Built for rougher terrain, longer trips and serious loads, the Kathmandu Hybrid is the powerhouse among Cube's e-bikes.
Almost all versions run a derailleur, which gives you a wide and sporty gear range. Would you rather have a low-maintenance belt? Then go for a Deluxe model. Cube also offers a special model in this series: the One11. Besides a suspension fork, the Kathmandu Hybrid One11 also has rear suspension - so it's fully suspended - and that really pays off on brick paving and poor cycle paths. Have a look at all electric hybrid bikes.
Cube Nuride Hybrid - for comfort with rear suspension
The Cube Nuride Hybrid is the versatile e-bike that also comes in a fully suspended One11 version!
That one adds a dropper post, so simply lower the saddle and stand with both feet on the ground. You will really appreciate this in busy traffic, and if getting on and off is a bit of a challenge for you.
Cube Reaction Hybrid - the dependable e-MTB
The Cube Reaction Hybrid is the electric mountain bike for those who want to enjoy the woods as much as possible without worrying about their bike. It has a solid build and is made to keep going for a long time.
You've got two versions to choose from: The One is the most affordable of the two and a lovely entry-level model, and the Pro adds a bit more on top. Have a look at all Cube electric mountain bikes.
Cube Stereo Hybrid - two bikes in one series
The Stereo Hybrid is Cube's full suspension e-MTB, and it comes in two very different flavours.
The plain version is pure trail bike: light, agile and ready for technical terrain. The FE version is fully equipped with lights, mudguards and a rear luggage rack, which makes it a surprisingly comfortable bike for commuting. The same foundation, a completely different use.
Cube Cargo Bikes
Cube Longtail Hybrid - for optimal transport options without the cargo bike feel
The Cube Longtail Hybrid e-bike carries your children and your shopping, and still rides like a normal bike. This is due to the 26 inch wheels, which are big enough for a familiar ride feel, yet low enough to lift things or children and put them in place easily.
You can choose between a plain version that you kit out yourself as needed, and a Family version that's ready for children right away, cushions included. Have a look at the Cube 2027 Longtail Hybrid Deluxe here.
Cube Compact Hybrid - a proper e-bike in a small size
The Cube Compact Hybrid e-bike is intended for those who live in the city and have little space. It fits in a small shed or hallway, and you can easily take it with you on public transport.
You will love how its small wheel size makes it agile in traffic, and with a belt drive there's hardly anything to look after.
Cube Fold Hybrid - the most compact solution for commuters
The Fold Hybrid is Cube's most compact e-bike - in a few moves you fold it into a small size that fits under your desk or in a train carriage.
This compact model has a low-maintenance belt drive too. If you combine bike and train on your way to work, this is probably the handiest model in the whole Cube collection. Discover all the electric folding bikes here.
Belt or chain - Which suits you?
When looking at e-bikes and city bikes, you keep coming across the choice between a belt and a chain, and it is one of the questions we get most often. The good news is that there is no wrong answer; they just suit different kinds of use.
A belt never needs lubing, it doesn't stain your trousers and it lasts a long time. If you ride to work every day, park your bike outside and don't fancy a lot of servicing, a belt really is a relief. You will find one on the Supreme Deluxe, the Editor Hybrid Pro and SLT, the Touring Hybrid Deluxe SLX, the Kathmandu Hybrid Deluxe and on the Compact and Fold Hybrid, among others.
A chain with a derailleur, on the other hand, gives you a wider and sportier gear range, and is easier to repair out on the road. If you ride long distances, spend a lot of time in the hills, or head off on cycling holidays, you're usually happier with that.
Not sure? Come and try them side by side. The difference in shifting feel is something you will notice within one lap around the shop, and is much harder to get from a spec sheet.
Which frame size do you need?
This is by far the question we get most often, and with sporty bikes in particular the frame size decides how good your ride feels.
What we see in practice is that almost everyone who is unsure sits between two sizes. And this is where you will notice that our size recommendation sometimes differs by one size from Cube's own sizing. There's no mistake in that: We base ours on what we see working in the shop, Cube goes by its own chart. If you are right on the borderline, it comes down to your inseam, your arm length and how sporty a riding position you want. So, the size recommendation you find with our products is based on the supplier's recommendations as well as our own knowledge and experience, and that is how we get you on the right size.
Our honest advice: Come and try both sizes. In our Superstores in Arnhem, Den Bosch, Rotterdam and Utrecht you can take a test ride, and then you usually know which one is right for you within ten minutes.
There's more still to come in 2027
Although we are happy that the Agree C:62 has made its debut in the 2027 range, there are still a few models missing… The Cube 2027 collection presented above isn’t the whole story yet. Cube will be releasing a number of further models over the course of the year that we’re not yet allowed to reveal, and there are certainly some interesting, innovative features among them.
As soon as we know more, we will update this blog again!
Conclusion
The Cube 2027 collection has something for just about every cyclist. Want to head out on the road on a sporty bike? Start with the Attain and work your way up to get to the Litening Aero or Air as soon as you are participating in races. Excited to go on off-road adventures? Go for the Nuroad, or the Nulane if you'd rather have flat handlebars. For rides in the woods, start with the Aim or Reaction and move over to the Stereo once things get technical.
Is your main goal to get from A to B comfortably? The Kathmandu and Touring are the light touring bikes, the Editor is the sporty city bike. If you want a comfortable electric bike, go for the Supreme or Editor Hybrid for urban use, the Touring or Kathmandu Hybrid for long distances, and the Longtail, Compact or Fold Hybrid when your cargo or your storage space comes into play.

Lars Berendsen
I learned to ride a bike at a young age, and I really enjoy road cycling. When I started working for Mantel, I was a weekend helper at the Superstore in Arnhem; after completing my education, I got a full-time position there. I was in daily contact with customers and products, which allowed me to further expand my knowledge of bikes and parts. I enjoyed doing this for three years, while also designing and building my own road bike. Today, I work as a product specialist, combining my passion for cycling and my experience in the shop to help our online customers make the best choices when buying a road bike, childrens bike, e-bike or accessories. For me, cycling is not just a sport but also a way to bring together technology, knowledge and fun.
