The frame is made of double-butted aluminium, paired with a lightweight C:62 carbon fork. The Cube Attain SLX is prepared for the road by our experienced mechanics in the workshop and is delivered 95% assembled in a sturdy shipping box. At home, all you need to do is fit the pedals, straighten and tighten the handlebars, and set the saddle to the correct height.

• Lubricate the chain regularly: The Shimano CN-M6100 chain and the 12-speed cassette perform best when they are clean and well-lubricated. After a ride in the rain, dry the chain thoroughly and apply a high-quality chain wax or chain lube. If you use wax, you must first degrease the new chain completely. This is because a new chain is lubricated with oil as standard, and this is incompatible with wax.
• Keep the brakes clean: Clean the Shimano 105 disc brake rotors regularly with a specific brake cleaner to prevent squeaking and maintain optimal braking power. Take care to ensure no lubricants get onto the brake pads.
• Check tyre pressure: The 32 mm Continental Grand Prix TR tyres ride most comfortably at 4.5 - 5.5 bar, depending on your weight. Lower pressure provides greater comfort and grip, especially on wet roads. Or convert the tyres to tubeless straight away and enjoy even greater comfort, grip and a lower risk of ending up at the side of the road with a puncture.

Can I fit wider gravel tyres to the Cube Attain SLX?
No, the Cube Attain SLX is a pure road bike and accommodates tyres up to a maximum width of 32 mm. The 32 mm Continental Grand Prix TR tyres that come with it already take up most of the space under the rear triangle and front fork. Fitting wider tyres or knobbly gravel tyres will cause the tyres to rub against the frame, which is potentially dangerous and could damage the paintwork. If you’re looking for a bike for off-road trails, take a look at the Cube Nuroad gravel bikes.
What is the difference between the Cube Attain SLX and the Cube Attain Pro?
The main differences lie in the groupset, the wheels and the total weight. While the Cube Attain Pro is fitted with a 2x9-speed Shimano Cues groupset and weighs 10.7 kg, the more luxurious Cube Attain SLX features a full Shimano 105 2x12-speed groupset and weighs just 9.9 kg. Furthermore, the SLX features a stiffer Newmen Performance wheelset and smoother Continental Grand Prix TR folding tyres that make the SLX more responsive, easier to climb with and offer better rolling performance.
What frame size of the Cube Attain SLX do I need?
The Cube Attain SLX is available in sizes ranging from 47 cm to 62 cm. The size that suits you best depends on your height and inside leg measurement. We recommend using the size chart on our website, or visiting one of our Mantel Superstores in Arnhem, Den Bosch, Rotterdam or Utrecht. In our shops, you can take an extensive test ride and our cycling specialists will determine the exact frame size that’s right for your body.
Can the wheelset on the Cube Attain SLX be fitted with tubeless tyres?
Yes, the Newmen Performance R.32 wheelset and the Continental Grand Prix TR tyres on the Cube Attain SLX are fully tubeless-ready. To make the switch to tubeless, all you need to do is add suitable tubeless valves and liquid latex (sealant). Riding without inner tubes reduces rolling resistance, increases comfort and ensures that small punctures are automatically sealed as you continue to cycle.
