Wolf Tooth's patented design means a slightly (10%) less oval shape with a less aggressive position (112°) than competitors' variants. While an oval chainring hardly affects ride feel, it certainly has big advantages in terms of power transfer. Especially during climbing. An oval chainring's diametre is equivalent to that of one that has 2 more teeth at the point where you can put most toque on your pedals for the best power transfer.

Not compatible with SRAM Rival
Incompatible with my SRAM Rival crankset because there is a difference in the chain line between the original SRAM chainring and the Wolftooth. This difference in chain line is not indicated in the chainring description, so it is difficult to form an opinion without buying and testing it... so it will never be reimbursed!
