The Wahoo ELEMNT ROAM cycling GPS was developed to give you the ultimate ride. Turn-by-turn navigation, the crystal clear colour screen, 17 hours of battery life and a user-friendly operating system all ensure that you get everything you can out of both your training and your pleasure rides.

Turn by turn navigation
Thanks to the smart navigation functions you always arrive at your destination. The turn-by-turn directions are provided clearly both on-screen and with audio cues. If you accidentally miss a turn, the ELEMNT ROAM will make sure that you get back on track. The ELEMNT ROAM also gives you the option of navigating to the start point of a route or creating a route yourself based on a location on the map. It connects with satellite GPS, GLONASS, BDS or QZSS, so you'll have perfect satellite coverage no matter where you are in the world.

Readability
Wahoo has equipped the ELEMNT ROAM with a crystal clear, vibrant 2,7" colour screen, with a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels. The rendering of the screen can be compared to that of an e-reader and gives you sharp resolution and clarity, even in the sun. The Gorilla Glass is super strong and crack-resistant. The built-in light meter measures outside light, adapting the screen's backlighting accordingly. So you can always see the screen well, and the battery is not unnecessarily depleted. With normal use the battery life is around 17 hours.

ELEMNT APP
Use the simple interface of your smartphone via the accompanying app to change your settings, to configure training schedules, and to connect sensors. Save your ride history easily and automatically sync your workouts with your favourite training apps.

SMART NAVIGATION
Navigate to a saved location or point on the map which you select directly on ELEMNT ROAM.
Find the most direct route or be automatically redirected to your original route if you deviate.

Get new on-screen directions for routes or use the Take Me Anywhere feature to generate an optimised cycling route with accurate route directions.

CALL & TEXT
Receive phone calls, messages and email notifications during your ride. Prefer cycling in peace? Turn on 'do not disturb' mode.

LIVE TRACKING
Live Track allows you to share a link by text or email using the ELEMNT Companion App, so that others are able to follow your ride in real-time on the Live Track web portal. Perfect for keeping you safely located by loved ones, tracked by a coach, or even meeting fellow riders in-route. This feature is only available if you are riding with your smartphone.

KICKR CONTROL
Link the ELEMNT ROAM with KICKR Smart Trainers so that you can train in different modes: ERG mode, Level mode, and routes and ride history mode.

Can I upload workouts and/or routes from 3rd party platforms to my Wahoo ELEMNT ROAM?
Yes, this is possible for diverse applications. Of course, you can connect Strava and Wahoo but also Komoot, Ride with GPS and more.

Which accessories can be paired with my Wahoo ELEMNT ROAM?
Commonly used sensors that can be paired are heart rate monitors, speedometers and cadence sensors. These are available from Wahoo but you can also use sensors from other brands. The most important thing to check is that the connection signal is correct, i.e. Bluetooth or ANT+. And you can also connect power meters to the ELEMNT ROAM.

Can I use my Garmin mount for my Wahoo unit?
Unfortunately no. As the fit is slightly different, you will need a specific Wahoo mount.
