Description
The Vision SC 40 Disc road bike wheels for disc brakes are equipped with the same rims as the Metron series. This allows you to enjoy the same aerodynamic performance as the higher segment of the Vision wheels collection. They are developed using extensive wind tunnel testing and frequently tested by professional cyclists of the EF Education First team and by the Israel Cycling Academy. The SC 40 Disc version has a 40 mm high carbon rim for all-round use. On flat roads as well as in hilly terrain you can enjoy a fantastic ride with the SC 40 Disc wheels.
Vision has equipped its SC 40 Disc wheels with 19 mm wide tubeless ready rims. This allows you to choose whether you want to ride with inner tubes or tubeless tyres. With a rim width of 19 mm, the rims are quite wide, which makes it possible to ride with wide tires on the SC 40's. The ability to ride both tubeless and wider tyres increases comfort, reduces the risk of punctures and also provides more grip and lower rolling resistance. The wheels are hand spoked so that the pressure distribution of the spokes is optimised and the wheels do not need to be tightened shortly afterwards. The self-locking ABS spoke nipples ensure that the aero spokes stay perfectly in place.
