Vision has equipped its SC 40 Disc wheels with 19 mm wide tubeless ready rims, so you get to choose whether you want to ride with inner tubes or tubeless tyres. With a rim width of 19 mm, the rims are quite wide, which allow you to install wider tyres om them. The ability to ride both tubeless and wider tyres increases comfort, reduces the risk of punctures and also provides more grip and lower rolling resistance. The wheels are hand spoked, which optimises the pressure distribution and prevents them from having to be retighteneded often. The self-locking ABS spoke nipples ensure that the aero spokes stay perfectly in place.

Good price/weight ratio
Perfect! Very versatile, the wind is noticeable but does not condition the behaviour. I think it's the perfect profile unless you're going to ride exclusively on the flat, in that case there are more specific options.

Solid upgrade carbon wheel. You can also find it from time to time with nice discount. Lower weight than OEM-fitted wheels, great comfort. Handling over windy conditions is fine.

Nice light, nicely steerable rims at a good price
Huge doubt between various wheel sets. So went to the shop to assess the various looks and finally settled on this Vison SC 40 Disc wheelset. Installation of the disc brakes and cassette is fairly easy. I did have to realign the brakes afterwards. Wheels are very light and handle very well. I chose the semi-high version because they are more all-round and less wind sensitive than the higher aero version. Then fitted the tyres again easily and with the Vittoria Corsa Control my bike has got a whole new look. Super satisfied!

Nice wheels, feel well responsive when you ride them. Reasonably multi-functional too, both on flat tarmac and a gravel path. Had to get used to the gusts of wind, but not too bad. Your bike looks much better and you want to ride it faster, top notch!
