Handy layout and multi-functional lacing
The asymmetrically opening main compartment of the Uphill 8 offers 8 liters of volume and features a flat, stretchable mesh pocket and a zippered side pocket, allowing you to easily access your cell phone or bar without having to take the pack off. On the front of the backpack is a multi-purpose lacing that has three functions: stowing a jacket with a full backpack, depth compression with less luggage and attachment option for hiking poles.
Good ventilation and durability
To ensure that the body is well ventilated, the back and shoulder straps feature 3D mesh. The backpack also features reflective elements, a drinking system outlet and a rain cover in the storage sleeve. In addition, all of the backpack's materials are durable and have a high recycled content. The backpack's ultra-light, siliconized base material is produced through a certified mass balance process that extracts pyrolysis oil from old tyres and saves up to 60% CO2.
Climate neutral and environmentally friendly
The Uphill 8 is climate neutral and carries the VAUDE Green Shape label, which means it is an environmentally friendly and functional product made from sustainable materials. Non-avoidable emissions are fully offset through the independent non-profit organization "myclimate".

Exactly what I was looking for and everything fits in well
I use the bag for carrying a bottle of water and some food during long walks. Really great! Everything I need fits exactly in the bag and even my jacket can be attached to it at the front if it gets too hot. I also like the rain cover! Happy with this purchase!
