Trek Procaliber 9.6

The Trek Procaliber 9.6 is one of the best XC bikes by Trek. The completely redesigned Procaliber is incredibly innovative, to say the least. The rigid OCLV Mountain Carbon frame is fitted with an IsoSpeed Decoupler -as first seen on the Domane and Madone 9 series- which provides the frame with some extra flex in the seat tube, offering additional comfort over a regular hard tail. The Procaliber also features the Boost 148/110 hubs which help create a considerably stiffer 29er wheel. An added advantage of the Boost technology is the extra space for wider tyres. It also allowed engineers to keep the rear forks shorter, further enhancing the playful character of the Procaliber 9.6! The Rockshox Reba RL front fork and Shimano Deore/XT 10-speed groupset with the RaceFace cranks offer maximum levels of control and bring a whole host of different terrains within easy reach.

Note: All the bikes sold by Mantel come with the front brake on the left, and the rear brake on the right of the handlebar. If you’re accustomed to another set-up, then consider having this changed by an expert, or take your time to get used to the current set-up.
