Versatile and sporty, the Trek FX 2 Disc Equipped is a great bike for just about any rider.
The frame of this hybrid bike is both strong and stable. In total, it can handle a weight of up to 136 kg. Because this bicycle is so robust, it is also relatively stiff. In combination with the rigid front fork and the fairly narrow 35mm tires, this ensures tight handling. The lack of suspension means that the bike focuses less on comfort and more on good handling characteristics. This is also noticeable in the saddle, which puts you in a more sporty riding position. A sleek finish is achieved by the internal cable routing, and the cables are also better protected from the elements.
Sporty equipment
As so often on a hybrid bike, Shimano is the supplier of the gears. With 18 gears split between the front and rear derailleurs, you can even get up a hill with the lightweight Trek FX 2 Disc Equipped. In addition, this hybrid bike is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes that give you a lot of confidence on the bike due to their excellent braking power.
