The heart of this fitness bike is the lightweight frame. It provides a sporty but comfotable sitting position. This makes the Trek FX 2 Disc a pleasant alternative to a road bike. The 35mm wide tyres also manage to find a good compromise between comfort and rolling resistance. These are wrapped around lightweight Bontrager Connection rims, which are also used on MTBs.
