Attractively designed aerodynamic frame
The Émonda SL 7 has a very attractively designed frame. It is aerodynamically shaped to make this new Émonda extremely fast on the flat. And to optimise its handling.
Good geometry
Trek's H1.5 geometry allows for a sitting position that is sporty without being uncomfortable. It is the ideal middle ground between comfort-minded H2 geometry and aggressive H1 geometry. The brake and gear cables are routed through the head tube in a clever, almost invisible way. Apart from being attractive, this also provides an aerodynamic advantage.
Super fast electronic shifting
The drivetrain on the Émonda SL 7 is of the same high quality, with the latest Shimano Ultegra Di2 2x12 speed groupset. Super fast and accurate shifting is guaranteed, even under heavy load. The compact 50/34 crankset combined with the 11-30 cassette makes the Trek Émonda suitable for use on various types of terrain: on the flat, on climbs and on descents, where you'll feel confident, as the hydraulic disc brakes are among the best in their class. They give you a lot of braking power that is easy to modulate.
High-quality carbon wheelset
Another strength of the Émonda SL7 is its wheelset. The 37 mm high carbon wheels really complete the bike. The wheels are lightweight yet aerodynamic, making it easy to get up to speed and even easier to maintain that speed. Furthermore, the wheels further improve the bike's handling.
