The battery is beautifully integrated into the frame. You can hardly spot that the mounted battery. But the best part is that a second battery can be connected to it, which doubles the range!
The whole is thing is powered by the reliable Bosch Active Line Plus motor. A great quality motor.
The rest of the District+ 6 is equipped with solid Shimano parts for shifting gears and braking. A trustworthy set.
Anyone who is in the market for a comfortable e-bike with which they can cover long distances should not ignore the Trek District+ 6.
The District+ 6 is equipped with the Bosch Active Line Plus mid-motor. This motor is both powerful, with a torque of no less than 50 Nm, and quiet. So on this e-bike you can enjoy nature undisturbed and effortlessly.
Integrated battery
Trek has ensured that the battery is beautifully integrated into the frame, and very easy to remove. This is done with the same key that you use to lock the e-bike. With a lock on top of the battery, you can remove easily remove and replace the battery from the side. The 400 W battery is good for up to 140 kilometers of assistance.
Sporty geometry
The frame of the Trek District+ 6 has a sporty geometry. This allows you to sit slightly more forward on your bike. However, thanks to the adjustable stem, it is also possible to sit a little more upright, which will give you a slightly more comfortable position. The stem is only adjustable with tools.
High-quality Shimano parts
For the final assembly, Trek has chosen Shimano parts. With the 7-speed Nexus hub gear you have a suitable gear for every terrain. It also features hydraulic disc brakes.
Trek has some tips for optimizing your battery use. For example, you can optimize your range by keeping your tyres hard enough. The ideal tyre pressure will be indicated on the sidewall of your tyres. Using a bicycle pump with an air pressure gauge you can easily see whether your tyres are running at the correct pressure. In addition, you should try to cycle at a regular cadence and motor speed. Stopping and starting in city traffic is of course unavoidable, but it is logical that this also costs extra power for an e-bike motor. If you try to apply these tips when you can, it will help you get just a few kilometers more out of the battery of your Trek District+ 6.

Trek District+ 6 is a great looking and fine bike and I highly recommend it.
First electric bike so no comparison material. But I really like this Trek, Cycle a lot on eco mode so I still get enough exercise, but get to work faster. And for hills and lots of wind it goes a bit higher. Super bike

Fine bike. Good support. The quick-release straps are really pudding. They broke on the first use. I would advise trek/mantle not to supply the quick straps or to supply a better set.

The bike has very good handling, sits perfectly. It also looks very nice. I feel safe on the road with my ebike and.... have already fitted it with a wicker basket at the front and rear! Oh, how proud I am!!!!
