The 300 Series Alpha Aluminium frame combines power and lightweight qualities, making sure this bike is agile on every terrain. Thanks to its internal cable routing and integrated mounting points for pannier racks and mudguards, this frame retains its sleek look and convenient functionality. The carbon front fork effectively dampens vibrations and ensures a comfortable, controlled ride, even on rough gravel paths.
Shifting system and brake performance
The Checkpoint ALR 5 provides a wide range of gears with its Sram Apex 12-speed gear shifting system, ideal for steep inclines as well as fast descents. Sram's hydraulic disc brakes provide consistent braking force, no matter the weather conditions. The 160 mm disc brake rotors ensure efficient stopping power, while its smooth shifting performance results in a fluid, efficient ride.

The Bontrager GR1 Team Issue tyres (700 x 40 mm) are tubeless ready and provide excellent grip and durability on gravel and asphalt. The Bontrager Paradigm wheels improve the bike's speed and stability. With its ergonomic Bontrager Verse Comp saddle and a comfortable handlebar, the Checkpoint ALR 5 was designed for long, adventurous rides.
