A safe ride to school
Carrying a heavy bag on your back is uncomfortable and unstable. If you transport it on your luggage carrier, your bike will be more stable and you won't feel uncomfortable and develop sweat marks on warm days.
Do your back a favour
As a general rule, you should not carry more than 10% of your body weight on your back. Thus, for an average child who starts secondary school the school bag should not weigh more than 4 kg. It is prudent, then, to transport it on a carrier. The Monkey Mee bag carrier is easy to use and fits on almost any luggage rack. The included strap is adjustable so that the bag can be secured well.

Handy product , does what it promises. Indispensable for the first years of high school. After that they take the backpack back on their backs anyway, it's not cool to have a drage anymore.

Daughter went to secondary school with a heavy backpack, mainly because of the laptop. First we tried to fix the backpack on the carrier with some quick-release straps. That went well for a while until the rucksack fell off the carrier. After some searching I came up with this solution. Mounting it was easy. We have been using it for months now and no rust to spot. The backpack is stable on the bike. The adjustment of the buckles on the straps could use a little improvement, but you shouldn't leave the product for that.
