Stages Carbon Sram GXP Road Gen 2 Road Bike Power Meter

This is the Stages Power meter suitable for Sram GXP Road crank sets. This crank has the second generation Stages power meter integrated into the arm. An improved battery cover has made this generation significantly more waterproof. This power meter measures power with a deviation of just +/- 2%. It measures power in the left crank arm and doubles that figure to provide you with your overall power. Research has shown that the difference in power between the left and right leg is so insignificant, that as power output increases the gap between the two becomes virtually zero.

The crank arm is only 20 grams heavier than the regular arm, making the Stages power meter the lightest power meter on the market. It's between 33 and 185 grams lighter than competitive power meters, and at an equally competitive price.

Data transfer is done wireless through ANT+ or Bluetooth Smart, meaning virtually all bike computers can be linked to the power meter. Firmware updates can also be performed wireless through your smartphone. Cadence is measured wireless and without the need for extra sensors as well, using the internal accelerometer.
