The SRAM Chainspotter prevents the chain from dropping of the smallest chainring. With a relatively small investment you can prevent a lot of problems. In the corridors this item is called an 'anti-Schleckie' which obviously refers to the chain of Andy Schleck that came of its chainring while shifting during the tour de france of 2010.

This is top quality and essential for any SRAM front mech

I purchased this to use on a Sram Axs front Mech as I had a chain dropping issue and in a word, the problem is sorted. Absolutely perfect!!
